It now determines my elemental magic and affects my destiny, so learning astrology is essential if I’m going to beat down my classmates - which is actively encouraged, by the way.

My biggest problem is the droolworthy Dragon shifter who has his eyes on my throne. He and his three psycho friends are determined to make my time here hell. All I’ve got to do is survive. But fate might have other ideas. Dammit, why couldn’t I have gotten a letter to Hogwarts?

This is a dark, bully romance - don’t go expecting a sweet school for magic with friends around every corner. Fae fight for everything they own and Zodiac Academy is a cutthroat school for students aged 18+ where only the strongest prevail. There’s no Dumbledore here to save anyone’s ass, and Lionel Acrux will give Voldemort a run for his money in the evil dictator category. So hold onto your stardust (broomsticks not required) and get ready for a bumpy ride.

Just give it a shot

I thoroughly enjoyed this audio book. the narration was entertaining and the story is well written. the ONLY problem i had with this was that everyone in this school is cringe-ily perfect models. there isnt a single flaw. they only one who seems remotely "normal" is Diego and the kind of cast him off as not very important despite being the only character that felt real.

but the plot and climax building (lol the pun fits this book) is great. it is left on somewhat of a cliffhanger. they didnt even finish out their first year.

A lot of bullying

I heard the first book has a lot of bullying but dang! It’s ridiculous. But I pushed through and will see if the rest of the series is good. The story itself is think of HP in college. The MC start at 18yrs old and told they are actually fae with magic! Woo! It’s an ok story so far if you can get past the bs. The narration is amazing though! Keep going, the series gets soooo good!!

love this book

What a great beginning to a series. Darcy and Tory are two girls who are just struggling to survive, then a stranger shows up and changes everything. They are enrolled at Zodiac Academy and things are not what they seem at all. You find yourself rooting for certain people and then....bam!! You ask yourself what just happened?! The series shows some amazing promise and I can't wait to see what happens next, and to see if there's anyone worth rooting for besides the twins.
I absolutely loved the narrator, she does an amazing job with the different characters.

So it's like Harry Potter meets avatar meets meets It's true blood, it's an almost truly erotic feeling about 90% of the book and even throws in the references we all desire

Strong start…

This was a very strong start for a new series. Can’t wait to listen to book two.
