Love this series!!

It made me laugh. It made me cry. It made me happy. It made me sad. The acting and the narrators are awesome.

Needed Connector

While this was mostly another perspective on events that have already happened, these perspectives had so much heart it made it totally worth it !

always a pleasure.

I love the way they pull at your heart strings just to give you a moment of belly aching laughter. no matter how much trauma they cause, they right it in the best ways possible.

Amazing bridge between stories

Just another reason to love this writing duo. The story from the other side brings in so much to this story line. Narrators as always were amazing. This series always has so many interesting pathways and it’s always a wild ride.

Chapter 21

This whole book was great! I loved learning about all the characters beyond the veil and how they had influence throughout the series BUT chapter 21 is GOLD 😂 Jake and Bridget, as always, were masterful at bringing the heart and characters of the book to life 🖤

slightly heartbreaking but worth it!

This book was such an interesting read! It was sad because everyone is dead but it is really cool to see how they are watching over everyone and helping how they can!

Loved this perspective

In order to understand this, you HAVE to read the other books in the series. But I love this new perspective we get before the final book 9. Getting to know characters instead of just from memories and also see how they are involved with the whole of the story is great!

Great Bridge Book!!!

Can’t wait to listen to book 9! This was a great way to learn about our favorite characters and new ones! Great world building, storylines and narration!!

Where do we go from here!

So this is a retelling of events from the previous book but with a fantastic bridge call nine ring the two worlds. I absolutely loved the background story of Felicia Knight and how the guild stones come into play. This added so much more substance to the overall big picture. The pining from Marcell throughout the entirety of the book ahead just hanging on to the knowledgeable Azreal. I wish there was a little more detail in regards to who gets sent for torment and doesn’t due to the decision to have Lances mother not get sent her final sacrifice I feel as it shouldn’t of been enough to tilt the scales that much. Overall I can’t wait to see what the next book holds in store!
