Lots of Action

The book started off a little weird and no back story as to the how. it took me a minute to get into thrre book but once there that was all she wrote. Finished the book in one setting. Lots of action going on, can't wait to start the second book. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters tti life and giving the story life. Worth your time and money.

Interesting Intro to the Series

I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
This is an interesting introduction to the series. Fighting for survival as with all zombie apocalypse books, the unique personality and skills of each character is explored. At times the descriptions of the resulting carnage is a little to graphic for my taste, but I was still able to enjoy the story and action. I appreciated the authors unique spin on a typical zombie filled situation. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Enjoyable!
This was actually a great listen, it's a bit different take but with a chilling twist on zombies. I was a bit confused in the very beginning, but soon I got into the story. It's well-plotted, suspenseful with intriguing characters. The narration by David Loving is excellent, I enjoyed his performance.

I love zombie stories and this one is great! I'm starting book 2 right now!

decent book

Another good book by Mr. White. I like the approach he took with this book. It doesn't start right as the zpoc starts but awile after. The chractures are well developed and likeable. If you like any zpoc you should read this!

Nail biting start to a series

What an excellent start to a series! The only downside is length. I want more! I'll be starting Surge of the Dead as soon as I finish this review. I'm very much invested in Virginia & Lori's story. If I could make one recommendation to the author, I'd suggest making a prequel. I'd love to hear about the outbreak, more about the girls' brother & father, the neighborhood, etc.

Zombies, zombies and zombies plus oh my!

OMG, OMG! Oh my goodness this book is good! This book was so freaking good. I have never in my life read a zombie book I wanted to read again. Except for this one. I can’t wait to find out what happens I can’t zombie song Siri to find out. Yes books and I loved it!next.

I hope this book turns into a series and I hope there's another book coming it can't end here! This would make a fantastic movie! What a ride!!!

Great story

Initially it was a little slow but as the book continued I was drawn in and couldn't stop listening. The characters had to deal with an illness that changed their loved ones into something scary. Then they had to figure out how to survive. The story has you routing for characters, then saying no don't do that, to almost crying when something happens. Overall I loved it and recomend this for others to listen to.
