it was a typical survival story.

it's probably just me but ive heard so many of these before and this format is seems so tired. if you really liked the first Day by Day book and haven't read the same story over and over you may like this.

Very good book!

I usually don't read this type of genre but glad I did because it was a very good book and it had just enough of everything thing in it, not to much but not too little. I'm glad theres more books to this series and can't wait to continue with the next book.

an interesting concept for a virus

This is a good story. The virus symptoms are very interesting,...... and, its a scary thought. Overall not bad. We'll see how the next book goes

Would you listen to Infection: A Pandemic Survival Novel again? Why?

I enjoyed it, but I don't know I'd do a repeat listen. It's rare for me to listen to most audiobooks more than once though, so this isn't a reflection on the book itself.

Have you listened to any of Scott Berrier’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not heard any of his other narrations, but I would definitely give them a try.

I enjoyed the book, but some parts were a little slow for me, although the ending seemed pretty abrupt. I am planning to listen to the next book in the series though.

Not Bad

This was a decent start to the series. I loved the interesting take on a world ending virus.

No character development

It's a great concept but I honestly found it hard to get through. I didn't care about the characters at all. The story didn't draw me in to want to know what happens next cause I could careless if they all died.

Book 2?

Loved the book! Narration was good also! My only recommendation would be to the editing department. Leave a pause between scenes / groups. Like chapter headings or even just a few seconds pause. It usually took a sentence or two for me to realize we were with a different group of people.

great story can't stand the narrator

like the story andlook forward to hearing the entire series really hard though with this narrator very monotone he speaks very precise and clear to understand just the manner in which he reads it can be very irritating i wasn't sure i was going to finish

Procedural Style Infection Story - Well Done

I'm a fan of what I call "procedural infection/zombie" stories, where the plot is more concerned with the process of the outbreak, the process of things falling apart, the process of survival rather than the typical alpha-male fantasy type story, which there is absolutely nothing wrong with. This story provides a unique and "novel" take on an apocalyptic infection, with a central premise which makes sense. The novel also details a realistic series of events in regards to how the main characters survive. I really liked it. There were parts where some of the characters behaviors were stereotypical but for the most part that's kept to a minimum.

The story was good but sometimes a little boring with lists of supplies they collected.
