The Last of Us meets Bird Box in Sunny Moraine's Your Shadow Half Remains, a post-apocalyptic tale where eye contact causes people to spiral into a deadly, violent rage.
ONE LOOK CAN KILL.
Riley has not seen a single human face in longer than she can reckon. No faces, no eyes. Not if you want to survive.
But when a new neighbor moves in down the road, Riley’s overwhelming need for human contact makes her throw caution to the wind. Somehow, in this world where other people can mean a gruesome, bloody death, Ellis makes her feel safe. As they grow closer, Riley’s grip on reality begins to slip and she can no longer fight her deepest desires.
All Riley wants to do is look.

Reseñas de la Crítica
“Intense, atmospheric, unnerving, absolutely oozing with dread. As profoundly moving as it is terrifying, and oh hell is it terrifying.”—Rachel Harrison, national bestselling author of Cackle and Such Sharp Teeth
“A haunting dance of imaginative dread. A mesmerizing descent into a pit of isolation, fascination, and paranoia.”—Hailey Piper, Bram Stoker Award-winning author of Queen of Teeth and A Light Most Hateful
“A taut tale of fear and desire, loneliness and madness. Its thin fingers creep through your eyes into your brain and don't let go.”—Lucy A. Snyder, five-time Bram Stoker Award-winning author of Sister, Maiden, Monster
Narrative voice needs work. Plot is paced poorly, and the characters are completely forgettable. (I honestly can't remember if Ellis was a he, she, or they.)

I think a lot of the negative reviews are people feeling like it's not "horror". It certainly is, it's just a lot more psychological than most "psychological horror".
Anywho, I loved it.
Excellent post apocalyptic horror
