My heart seriously broke for Cubby.💔 It was like everyone around her made her feel like she was too much or not enough. Literally tearing up for her at times because her frustration, pressure, and loneliness just oozed off the pages - I just wanted to hug her! 🥺

Needless to say this book was wow! The writing was amazing, the story was emotional, and the characters truly come through to round out this heartwarming rockstar romance.

The audio was top tier! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Amazing, but it also killed me.

Okay Mazey Eddings, I don't know what I did to you in a past life to earn you reaching directly into my brain and heart and proceed to stomp on it for six hours before putting it back together in the last two. I loved this story, but a LOT of it was hard, anxiety inducing even for me to listen too, as someone with depression it was super real.

I kept wanting to scream at the audio book for them to just talk to each other! Which I suppose means she wrote a really convincing cast of characters and drama.

I picked this up after hearing the author speak at a book festival panel and I don't regret it despite the suffering. The music is great, the narrator great and i was rooting for the love interests the whole time. Just man...maybe next time give us a little more them happy together time and a little less of the excruciating longing, miscommunications and struggles.
