You Only Live Twice

They say "an idle mind is the devil's workshop", but Emily is not worried. Only fools stumble when walking the line between fantasy and reality. She knows exactly what she's getting herself into when it comes to Charles. Sure, he might be taken, but they're both smart enough to cover their tracks. Platonic relationships can work, as long as both sides decide the "L" word isn't allowed.

Charles certainly isn't going to allow her to ruin his happy home. When she breaks her silence, she doesn't realize that she's playing with fire. Charles has a moral code that's much different than her own. He will erase people just to keep the status quo. It's no longer a question of "What if someone gets hurt?" ; it's "What happens once the ashes settle?".
