Roosevelt College, Book 1

Lark Levitt doesn't belong at Roosevelt College, at least in theory. Most students who attend the university come from wealthy families, and Lark is only a scholarship and a bus ride away from the trailer park where he lives. Henry Albrecht survived childhood cancer and is now a Roosevelt quarterback and model student. His past is something his father insists Henry keep private, and it makes his remission feel like a dirty secret. He has few precious memories from that time in his life, except for a kid from the hospital who made his recovery manageable. A kid who's now at Roosevelt.

They decide to keep their distance. Easier said than done. Their renewed connection brings solace, clarity, and a raw intensity that awakens a spark between them. But hiding their history is exhausting, and soon enough their secret meetups are in danger of being exposed. Henry will need to face his fears—and his father—or lose the only person who's ever understood the real him.

Sweet, Low Angst Romance

I loved this story. I honestly expected the storyline to be heavier because of all the different subjects - childhood cancer, class differences, coming out - but I was pleasantly surprised. If you’re looking for a sweet, low angst romance with wonderful spicy scenes, you should give this a listen. Very enjoyable and the MCs are just so cute together.

Went in with no expectations and enjoyed it

I honestly picked this book for my A to Z reading challenge. I have not read any of her books before but I will now. This was a very sweet MM romance. I loved the friends to kinda enemies to lovers storyline. The narrators were amazing, they both portrayed their characters very well. I am looking forward to reading the next one in this series.

Sweet and fluffy

If you need a feel good MM romance, this is the book for you. I loved both MMCs and Lark's mom and sister (great side character without distracting from t he story).
