Alexander, Lord Burlington, has spent ten months coming to terms with being ghosted by the American he could see having a future with. Not to mention Christmas is the one time of year he hates, so the sooner he can escape Valentine Nook, the better.
Haven Wylder tried to forget her week-long fling with the hot Englishman, something made impossible when two lines flashed at the end of a pregnancy test.
Now she’s grappling with motherhood. Being alone makes it harder and all the more exhausting, but having lost both her parents means she’s determined not to give her daughter the same experience.
She sets out to find the guy who’s taken up way more of her head, and heart, than she intended.
One look at Haven, and Alex casts aside his feelings for Christmas. Instead, he puts his energy into “how to be the best girl dad” and hopes, perhaps, Haven’s sparkle might return. He hasn’t forgotten her smile, the twinkle in her brilliant green eyes, or the way she felt in his arms either.
When he invites them to stay, it’s only a matter of time before the lines are blurred between keeping things platonic and giving in to their undeniable chemistry.
Soon, all that’s left is figuring out how to raise their daughter together from separate sides of the Atlantic.
Haven might have gotten away once, but Alex isn’t making the same mistake twice. He has other plans.
He just needs to convince Haven before she returns to Aspen, and prays she says yes.

I adore the beautiful world of Valentine Knook and the Burlington family that Lulu has created. I fall even more in love with every book. This is Alex and Haveens story, their second chance and Alex learns of his beautiful daughter Everly at 6 weeks old.
The beginning of Alex and Havens story statts in a novella called "Once Upon a Christmas". It is not necessarily to read it first but I highly recommend it. I feel it makes this story even more impactful. It shows you the devotion and connection between them.
This story is full of messy feeling, light-hearted funny interactions, soul crushing longing, steamy spice and beautiful heartwarming moments. All of its interwoven with Holiday fun in the perfect village setting. And we get lots of Burlington sibling interactions and meddling. I loved how involved and invested the Burlington clan is.
We get to wach Alex fall in love not just with Haven but with his daughter Everly. I loved waching him becoming an active dad. My heart broke for him as he realized all the things he missed out on but he never let it hinder his current place in Everlys life.
Alex gives his all the Haven and I couldn't be happier that they got past the issues become the beautiful couple and family they deserved. I love all the things he did to make Havens life as a mother easier and helped her find her way out of the fog she was in.
Haven is so determined and used to doing it all on her own its a wonder that she let's Alex in. I lo e that she did. She isnt having the best time as a new mom and this book doesn't gloss over it. Im glad her struggles get highlighted. Loved waching her bloom into a happy mom and happy in love.
Once again I found myself getting halfway through this book knowing was going to buy the Audiobook needing to listen to it because I was so in love with it and I knew the narrators would make me fall even more in love. Dual narration by Shane East & CJ Bloom. I tell you that both can do no wrong. And CJs English accent was done so well. They both brought this story to life, they have a way of pulling emotions out of the story.

Haven, exhausted and overwhelmed, goes to Valentine Nook, England to find Alex with their 1 month-old daughter, Everly, so that he can be a part of her life. He reacts as one would and his family was perfect as they accepted Haven and Everly into their family. They live together, deciding to start out as friends as they co-parent Everly, but their chemistry is just as palpable as it was 10 months ago. Their small touches and the fact that they couldn’t stop thinking about each other for those 10 months made their relationship feel more natural as they went from friends to lovers. Alex’s family dynamics were entertaining, and their antics were a lot of fun. I loved how Alex dealt with his reasons for disliking Christmas. There was a lot of tender moments and genuine familial love between the Burlington family.
I found myself smiling throughout all of Alex and Haven’s story, starting with Once Upon a Christmas Tree. While you don’t have to read the novella in order to understand the story in Wylder Ranch, but I’d recommend it as you can experience Haven and Alex’s romance. The audiobook was a blast to listen to! Shane East and CJ Bloom did a fantastic job with their narration.

The fact that she was pregnant with his child added depth to their reunion and made their connection even more touching. I enjoyed the way she reached out to him and slowly helped him lower his guard. They were truly made for each other, and listening to their story made every moment even more enjoyable.
This was a cute and charming romance that I loved from beginning to end.
Love that is so sweet!

The story picks up ten months after Alex, Lord Burlington, was ghosted by the American he could see a future with. He's still grappling with his disdain for Christmas and is eager to escape Valentine Nook. Meanwhile, Haven Wylder, who tried to forget her week-long fling with the hot Englishman—an effort made impossible by a positive pregnancy test—is now dealing with the exhausting reality of new motherhood. Determined not to let her daughter grow up without a father, as she did, Haven sets out on a quest to find the man who has occupied her head and heart for nearly a year.
The reunion is handled beautifully. Five thousand miles and an accidental pregnancy are significant hurdles, but Lulu Moore seamlessly draws you into their world, making it easy to forget your own. Alex’s initial reaction to the truth isn't perfect, but once it settles in, he steps up in the most swoon-worthy way, immediately casting aside his feelings about Christmas to put all his energy into being the best girl dad. Watching him embrace fatherhood and deal with his fear of the holidays with the help of Haven and their daughter, Everly, truly broke and then melted my heart.
Haven, a strong woman who isn't afraid to show her vulnerability, grows immensely through her interactions with Alex and the rest of the supportive Burlington family. When Alex invites them to stay, the close-proximity setup becomes pure perfection. The undeniable chemistry soon blurs the lines between keeping things platonic and giving in to their feelings. Between the banter, the quiet emotional moments, and the flirting—especially with Alex knowing exactly what he’s doing in those sweaters—I was absolutely melting. A Christmas tree scene hit me right in the feels, and a particular scene involving icing is one I’ll never look at a kitchen the same way again.
The Burlington family dynamic continues to shine, with their teasing and support adding warmth and humor to every chapter. I love how seamlessly themes of grief, healing, and family are woven into a love story that feels both tender and genuine. Haven and Alex belong together, and watching them find their way back was pure joy. Soon, all that’s left is figuring out how to raise their daughter from separate sides of the Atlantic. Haven might have gotten away once, but Alex isn’t making the same mistake twice; he has other plans and just needs to convince her before she returns to Aspen. The narration brought so much emotion and depth to the story, breathing life into Lulu’s wonderful writing. This book left me deeply happy and in love with this world all over again, and I can’t wait for the rest of the Burlington siblings to get their turn.
