The Odd Couple
The beginning of the book didn't set the pace but gave a nice twist. Alice and Wrecker... aka Mr. President. LOL! Those two had me in TEARS laughing... throughout the Book. There were also those oh so sweet heart warming moment's. I must say, that this is is my favorite book in the series on Audio. the other 4 are not audio unfortunately. 💔

Opposites attract and these 2 are perfect for each other. Alice was a breath of fresh air. She was funny yet real. She was trying to deal with the loss of her mother the best way she knew. which was to drink and avoid talking about it. Wrecker was there the whole time, proving to her that he cared and could be what she needed. Probably my favorite in the series right next to Nickel, Slayer, and Freak.

Not the best
Overall a good series, but I wish I hadn't spent a credit on this one. Very slow, no real spark. I don't know if that is due to the writing or the narration.

Wrecker & Alice
Melissa Barr and Paul Bruin truly brought Wrecker and Alice to life. I’ve read this book several times and have loved it every time but listening to these amazing narrators made this book so much better. I enjoyed this story immensely.
