Raven

Raven's secrets have shaped the woman she is: solitary and closed off. After being let down by the one person that should have always been there, Raven has built her walls up so high, nobody could possibly scale them. She takes care of herself. She has her own back. She might live surrounded by her brother's club, the Fallen Lords MC, but the family and brotherhood they preach is a load of crap and she isn't buying any of it.

Clash

Babysitting his president's baby sister isn't a hardship. Keeping Raven safe from the Ultra isn't a problem for a man like Clash, either. Keeping her from being destroyed by her inner demons is what threatens to bring him to his knees. When truths come to light and clash with reality, Clash is determined to be the one Raven can count on. Even if she refuses to admit it's what she needs.

Contains mature themes.

Winter Travers does it again, never disappoints. Clash and Raven’s journey was intriguing, intense, and enjoyable. Loved Raven’s fiery spirit. She gave everyone a run for their money. Clash is amazing, an alpha male, a little gruff, but knows how to be protective, caring, and simply wonderful. I enjoyed every single moment of this story. Narration was fantastic.

I love this series. I read the books out of order and this book was one of the last I've read. I have to say it's not exactly my favorite. although I love all the characters in thos series wrecker is my least likable character. I didn't like how when raven told wrecker what happened to her he keep repeating through out the whole book was I didn't know. To me it was like okay that happened now move on. Their also didn't seem to have much emotional reaction to what happened to his sister raven considering he wanted to keep her sage and asked for her help even though he had abandoned her when she was younger. Again loved the series, this one not my favorite.

SPOILERS!!!!!

I'm a huge Fallen Lords fan and have listened to the series more times than I can count. This one? I usually skip. Raven is the president's sister. She came in a few books ago and is basically a huge bi*ch to everyone. I figured she had a reason for her attitude and it's revealed here. My problem? The author made Wrecker, the president, the reason. 1st, there are inconsistencies. In Wrecker's book it's said that Raven was 17 when their parent's died and that Wrecker had fought for custody of her but didn't get it. In this one she was 15 when the parent's passed and Wrecker supposedly thought foster care was a better fit than him. On top of that he didn't see or contact her for years. He supposedly called the foster parent and social worker but not her. The outcome being that bad stuff happened to her in foster care. He then blames her, asking why she didn't tell him or find him to tell him what was going on. Nope, nope, nope. I can't stand when author's change their previous characters to fit the recent book. Plus, the history was already written and the author changed that too. For the story itself? Most if it was ok, but the ending was ridiculous with her taking off without a word, especially since she mentioned that she's not one to run away from her problems. Everything was resolved, of course, but I wasn't a fan of the road getting to the HEA.
