Karn leveled up. At the size of a Utahraptor, his [Void-Step] made him the apex predator of the Verde Gap. Hunting Cartel patrols was no longer just survival. It was sport. He racked up System rewards and fed on the bodies. He felt invincible.
He was wrong.
The Cartel brought in The Cleaners. Sonic weapons and gravity traps shut down his teleportation. The apex predator became a lab rat. Locked in a high-tech facility and collared with mana-dampeners, Karn endured weeks of torture as scientists tried to extract his Void Essence.

Then the containment grid failed. Karn didn't just break out. He crashed straight into the processing vats of "White Dust". This was a lethal blend of cartel product and raw Mana Rift energy. He ingested kilos of it.

The Cartel wanted his power. Now they are just meat.
