Really enjoyed the series

I was a little skeptical of how the series would end based on other reviews but thoroughly enjoyed it! Wraps things up without loose ends but leaves it open where spin offs could be easily created!

I’m burned out but glad I finished

It was not really the end to the series I expected. No spoilers, but I took a direction I didn’t care for. I like writing style of the author, but I think she tries too hard with her vocabulary; much overuse of words like Abject, Cacophony, etc. Having a wide vocabulary is one thing- using your favorite Big Girl words over and over makes it a failed attempt at being pretentious.
After 3.5 books I sort of stopped truly listening and just allowed it to be background noise because I lost interest but I still wanted to know how the story ends.
I don’t know. I feel bad giving 3 or less stars since I do like the writing style and the narrators did a good job with the material. I really wanted this to be my new Go To book series but I don’t think I’ll listen to this again for awhile
