Publisher's Summary

Sasha Wellington has put herself on the fast track to success. Fresh out of college, she's got her career as a fashion designer and entrepreneur all planned out. Her only wild card is choosing which city to launch from. When fate points her to Atlanta, she sets out to make her dreams come true.

Before she knows it, Sasha's befriended by two rival BFFs. First there's Norman, savvy stylist to Atlanta's stars, from the A-list on down. Then there's Nina, an outrageous personality with a questionable nightlife. Between their antics, Sasha's beyond grateful for her coworker, Casey. Married to an NBA player, Casey's got class. But there's more than meets the eye to being a baller's wife. And the more time Sasha spends among the movers and shakers, the clearer it gets that just like on reality TV, the truth lies behind-the-scenes. Still, she's not worried about getting caught up in the drama - until she's romanced by a baller of her own. Can she stick to her game plan, or will Hotlanta derail her future - and reveal a side of herself even she didn't know existed?

Thank You!!! Two Thumbs Up!

I really enjoyed this book, there was such a refreshing attitude that I haven't typically found along my literary journey. It was so juicy and fun to listen to, I loved the narration. I found myself yelling at the protagonist a lot because I felt like I was right there in the moment with them. Thanks Sheree!!! -Your Fan

wait for it.....

I thought Sheree did a terrific job for a first-time writer. She hit all the bullet points for a best seller. SEX, DRUGS, MONEY....and even closer with the expectation of more to come. It was fun trying to figure out what characters were inspired by the characters (yes, they are real-life characters) on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Yes, I definitely thought it an entertaining book. I will pick up book (2) when she decides to write it.

I hate myself for buying this

Because it sucked. The narration was exaggerated and unimpressive. Wish I had saved my money

The book could've been longer

Well the ending wasn't very good. It doesn't seem like the book is done. It needs the rest of it. Is it a part two coming out. I mean it was some good parts. it just doesn't seem finished.

Language Barrier, Beware!

What did you like best about Wives, Fiancées, and Sidechicks of Hotlanta? What did you like least?

Excellent Narrating of the book! Patricia R. Floyd did a wonderful job.

Im not sure that I have an exact like or dislike of the book. It certainly has some funny stories in it about women behaving horrible and actually getting away with it Overall the book was oddly entertaining and the whole time I was thinking I don't think I've ever seen someone in the real world act this way and thats why the book is fiction. Or is it? If its non fiction claiming to be fiction with a nicely disguised package then its very interesting that the author is using a literary platform to air dirty her laundry. While thats not uncommon in books, this style is very different because it clearly relates directly back to the Atlanta Housewives Show. Anyone who has ever seen the wig pulling, stripper bashing, and drink throwing episodes will know exactly who this is about. I feel like the Author is taking the mud slinging to a whole new level. She made some pretty insane statements in the books that will leave the reader feeling negative of the person who they will relate to on the show. While she writes the book from the struggles of "Sasha" and her journey to marriage we all know who the key players are. Who else on the show was proven to be a "Dancer"? Who else on the show wears blond wigs everyday?

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Sasha did what she needed to do to get through the day. We have all had to bottle up some emotional crap and tuck it away at some point in our lives just so we can reformulate our plan and move forward... nothing wrong with that... very relatable. I personally wouldn't have handled it that way... but then again its just a fiction book right?

Which scene was your favorite?

Laying in the bed, looking at the ceiling.... very relatable. We've all been there.

Could you see Wives, Fiancées, and Sidechicks of Hotlanta being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Isn't it already a reality show? Clearly many parts of the book were changed just a tad to prevent lawsuits but yes its all from the Atlanta Housewives show and the Authors life as she perceives it. I personally don't think there is enough substance in the book to make it into a movie. That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the book, I just wouldn't pay $15.00 to watch all the cat fights at the movies.

Any additional comments?

If a book can make you call a friend and reconnect after time has drifted your friendship apart then it must be a good book indeed! Only my humble opinion of course. In order for me to understand some of the language in the book I had to call my friend and say look I just got this book and I'm having a huge issue understanding some of the slang terms... What does this mean? She laughed , I laughed, we compared the situations in the book to the situations on the Atlanta show and laughed even more.. We talked about who we think the woman are most likely to be in the book and laughed some more at the outlandish behavior of the characters. I just couldn't imagine calling some of those ladies friends when the words they chose to use with one another are so hurtful. Apparently thats okay with these ladies. As for my own language barrier with the book I've probably fallen being the times on slang terms... aint just aint cutting it any more I suppose! Oh wait did I just throw shade on my own self! A fun read and lots of gossip to boot! Now lets see which lady of Atlanta Housewives writes the next book trashing this Author. My bets are on the Stripper, Oh wait I meant Dancer! Overall a good read if your looking for a little extra to go along with the Bravo show on the Atlanta housewives.

Good book

Sheree did a great job with this book! It could use some plot twist and a little more drama tho. It's written as if there is a definite part 2 so I can't wait for the second part. Not your average "hood tale" but a classy read. I really like it.

The storyline was fantastic

The story kept repeating itself like she needed to fill up a word count or something. How many times can you tell us that she had goals and dreams!?! We got it the first 5 times you said it. Your readers are not dumb. Other than that, this books a B+ and I look forward to the sequel.
