Publisher's Summary

The Witching Hour is upon us....

Kyle Ashfeld has escaped to his hometown of Kent, Connecticut, in search for peace. He is battling his demons, fighting memories of his family’s tragedy, and drowning in nightmares of flames and destruction. His only sanctuary is the library where he works.

But that sanctuary is quickly tainted when Connor Fegan appears and warns of the prophecy of the witching hour. Every century, on the second Friday of September, six demons escape hell and set in motion a cataclysmic sequence of events that lead to disasters on a global scale. And only one man can stop them. For Kyle, these are all the fantasies of a madman, but when one horrifying event after the other takes place around him, he quickly realizes that there may be some truth to Fegan’s words after all.

Joined by long-time fan, Aley Davis, Kyle is thrown into the midst of his worst nightmares, fighting for his life against a demon determined to stop the only hurdle in its path of destruction. Whether he believes in the prophecy or not, the witching hour is upon him, and there will be no escape from the horrors of hell.

Demons

Read this book back in Nov 2017 and enjoyed listening to it but where is the 2nd book? Poor Kyle, a horror novelist who move back to his hometown after the tragic death of his wife Jennifer and son Michael but is plagued with repeated nightmares of their death and a demon controlling his thoughts. He meets up with Connor Fegan who tells him about the witching hour and only he can stop them from setting the world on fire. I want more. Just listen, it was good. Highly recommend author’s Sin Series which is even better.

A great Suspense Book

Kyle Ashfeldis working in the local library when he meets a patron Conner Fegan who tells him an unbelievable story...,"Every century on the second Friday of September six Demons escape Hell and only one man can stop them...Kyle". This book is great! You have a well descibed plot with good believable and interesting characters. It has many twists and turns to keep your mind guessing what will happen next. Jake Urry does an amazing job with the narration. I just have to say I couldn't put it down. I recommend this book.

The perfect amount of creepiness and suspense!

My biggest fear is fire, so this book had me having the weirdest dreams! Not many books affect my dreams. The scare street authors seem to know how to get to me. I rarely have nightmares, but this one provoked a few. Just the right amount of creepiness and suspense. You’ll always wonder what’s next! I can’t wait until the next book!
