Publisher's summary

Violet Savoie has a plan; a dream, rather: to open her own tattoo shop, which caters to supernaturals in need of permanent charms.

As a powerful Seer, she has the potent magic to cast every kind of spell...except the kind to give werewolves control over their beastly side. And her business partner Nico needs help in the worst kind of way.

Nico Cruz has a secret. A motive, rather. To subtly stalk and seduce Violet until she finally recognizes they are fated to be together. Ever since their heated encounter in Austin on New Year’s Eve two years earlier, he’s been dying to get his hands - and his tongue - back on her body. He knows a woman like Violet can’t be courted in the usual way. Luckily, Nico has no scruples about misbehaving to get what he wants.

But when his former pack roams into town, and an old friend is far too interested in Violet, his focus shifts to the threat venturing into his territory. Nico may come across as the quiet, broody one, but the intruders are about to regret stepping foot in New Orleans.

And when Violet goes missing, no charm or spell can keep Nico’s wolf at bay.

Amazing Series!

Ahh this series just keeps getting better. Violet and Nico have slow-burn friends-to-lovers epic romance. Nico and his alpha pinning and Violet and her refusing to give in are the best. Along with the steamy romance the heart of this book will make you swoon. Each page will keep you hooked!

Witches really do get stitches...

Violet and Nico might be my favorite couple so far!! Their dynamic was just so intense from the moment they met right up until the very end, I swear my phone was about to catch fire!!

In saying that though, I think Clara's is going to be my favorite.

A witch who owns a tattoo shop might be one of my favorite things about this book, maybe a touch cliche but I loved it. Violet was a firecracker, and I knew the moment she read those cards Nico was going to have to work extra hard to even get her to reconsider their relationship status. Nico wasn't giving up though, and with the patience of a saint he was always there for her despite everything. His wolf getting antsy didn't even stop him from having that beautiful patience I found so endearing. Too often we see the alpha males who have a fiery temper and while that is okay this was a nice change.

The moment the pack from Austin showed up I knew it meant trouble but the way that Juliette Cross took this story surprised me. I was expecting bloodshed and okay there was some, but it was such a powerful moment in the supernatural world. She took something that could have been ugly and made it into something we need to see more of in this world and that is compassion for those who might be different than you.

Aiden Snow always owns his narrations but, he really does the wolves unlike any other narrator. With that deep growl he is so good at I was a puddle anytime he got a bit.... wolfy. And Johanna Fairview did a really great job with Violet, but I felt like a bit towards the end she got a bit nasally. Not really a hinderance on the story but I could sense the change.

The Stay a Spell Series is quickly becoming one of my favorite supernatural series. It doesn't have the heaviness that often comes along with a supernatural series or that desperation of the world is ending. It is just a fun series, and I am hopelessly in love with all the Savoie sisters and their mates.

Looking forward to the Christmas novella where we will finally see how Charlie and JJ get together because the suspense is killing me!!

Don’t snooze on the Savoire Sisters!

I love everything about this series, from the Savoire Sisters to the supernatural world building, the witty banter, and the wonderful mix of hot, powerful men in their lives. I started reading these for a palette cleanser between my much darker romance books and now I’m eagerly awaiting each sister’s book. Definitely a fave with superb narration too.

I like the story of Niko, the romance was slow burning but satisfying at the end.

Love this series

Violet is my least favorite of the sisters but this book was great. She became more likable with context and Nico is a perfect book boyfriend

I want a werewolf boyfriend

I can’t get enough of the Savoie sisters. Each book is unique and is great own it’s own. But put them together in this series and it’s an addiction. I love Violet and Nico’s 2 year foreplay. I love how stubborn they both were in confessing their feelings to themselves and each other. Can’t wait for more in the SAS series

A witch meets a werewolf!

Witches Get Stitches is book 3 in the Stay a Spell series and I’ve been having the best time catching up on this paranormal romance series. Each book follows one of the Savoie sisters, witches who live and work in New Orleans.

Violet Savoie is a Seer and has had a plan to open her own tattoo shop that caters to fellow supernaturals in need of permanent charms. She’s spending New Year’s Eve in Austin (Texas) and meets Nico Cruz, a werewolf and musician, at the bar. They have an instant connection and partake in a fun little limerick war with one another which leads to some passion on the rooftop and more than just the fireworks going off with a bang at midnight! 😉 Violet takes off and they don’t meet again until 10 months later when Nico moves to New Orleans to be closer to his cousin Mateo (the hero of book 1). Another year passes and Nico and Violet have actually become friends and are even venturing into a business partnership together as she gears up to open her tattoo shop, Empress Ink. While intensely attracted to Nico, Violet has been trying not to act on her feelings because of their business relationship. But Nico has plans of his own…he’s known Violet is his since that NYE night 2 years ago and hopes the closeness in working together will lead to her finally realizing it too.

I loved Violet and Nico together! Their friendship with the angst of both wanting to be together was so delicious. Violet is headstrong and blunt, except for when it comes to acting on her feelings towards Nico…she definitely has some hang-ups there. 😅 But the built-up tension it created was worth it! Other moments I loved: seeing the rest of the Savoie sisters, especially the scenes including Violet’s twin Clara, Fred the bow-tie wearing rooster, Mateo/Alpha moments, a supply closet that saw a whole lotta action 🔥🙌🏼, Violet’s visions, and her experimenting with magic and charmed tattoos to help werewolves.

Another spicy good one!

I throughly enjoyed this one. The narrators are awesome. Why when the female narrator did Nico voice it was so sexy! Now don’t sleep on the male narrator his voice was totally sexy too. They really brought this story to another level. Can’t wait for the next in this series!
