This complete set includes all four books in the Wish Quartet - over 30 hours of magic, romance, forgotten gods, and plot twists!

Josephina Espinosa woke up on her last day alive knowing three things:

  1. This was supposed to be her last job.
  2. Magic wasn't real.
  3. The Society of Wishes definitely didn't exist.

She was so, so wrong.

Now she's the newest member of the very Society she thought was only a legend. Her work is only just beginning. And Jo must earn her place among her new team by helping grant wishes using powerful, destructive magic within her.

Jo is used to having a lot on her plate. What she's not used to is following orders - especially when they come from the mysterious and sexy leader of the Society, Snow.

When Jo directly ignores Snow's orders to save the life of her best friend, she learns that there's much to the Society she still doesn't understand. Everyone has their secrets.... And none may be deadlier to discover than her own past.

At the beginning of the first book it presents as a mash between sci-fi and fantasy. There is a lot of tech and a post-modernist world but in a time of extreme need magic presents itself. As the stories and books continue it becomes much less sci-fi and much more fantasy. The first book seemed more like a 2.5/5 for me. I could see that the authors were setting something up but it wasn’t enough to make me continue reading the series if it had not been for this box set audiobook. The book just seemed a bit underdeveloped. In the second one the world seems to open up a bit more and there is more of a driving force in the story. The third book is really where you get to the ‘meat’ of it all and start finding out the secrets and get more information on all the magic and the world. Then the fourth is where most of the action happens and the saving the world but coalesces. I will say that the story gets progressively better with each book as the world opens up more.

Progressively better

Very enjoyable plot line. Overall, the story is well thought out and keeps your attention. There are parts where it drags, but it quickly picks up again. It's nice to have the entire series in one recording. The story is set in a future timeline and dimension. I thought I had the series figured out in the first book, but I had no clue how the story would twist and turn and ultimately end up in a whole new world.

Well performed intriguing story

I love it when you can get multiple books for the price of one. This series kept me entertained throughout the series. I will read more from this author.

I got through half of book 2 and i am upset that I it did not keep my attention. The synopsis was really not what I heard.

I tried

I purchased this as my next series bc i like YA and fantasy etc. It was a little hard sticking to it bc there’s a lot of nonsense talk among characters without the storyline ever really advancing. Basically Joe Espinosa was a hacker who had a magic ancestor and when she made a wish she was stuck outside of time granting people wishes and then she found out she was someone else in a past life and the story could have led with that bc clearly the reader knew with the obvious hints.. i think it would have been much better if it dove more into her past.. narrator wasn’t bad— books are bearable if you listen at 1.2x speed or faster. Overall simply mediocre all around

Difficult to get into but progressively better
