these are getting better with every book
This author is new, a fledgling. I'm impressed with her marked improvement in character development already, though this is only the second book in this series. Her characters are having more realistic conversations and the situations are becoming truly human instead of grossly irritating fantasy. Bravo Ms. Goodwin. Also, the narrator is performing better. my hats off to you both!

I am enjoying this FBI fictional series. If you enjoy "traveling" around the country finding out about scoundrels and their devious backgrounds, you may enjoy them, too.
