Great series start

I love the narrator for this and how she does the voices. easy to tell apart the characters.

I also really liked the story itself. It's interesting to learn more about Charlie, Ollie, and Logan as the story passes. I'm curious to continue and see what happens.

I really loved this story and the development of it. I'm looking forward to diving into book 2. And the narrators accents are amazing and I love them!

Great start!

I loved the cover and thought I would give this new series a go and I’m so glad that I did. The story is captivating and kept me in the edge of my seat.

This book has adventure, suspense, drama, action, and a touch of romance. There seems be a lot of secrets and a lot to be revealed because I feel like we are missing a big piece of the puzzle.

Narration was good and brought the story to life.

The conclusion was too soon and left us in a huge cliffhanger. The twists and turns were unexpected and left us wondering what is going on. I need the next book ASAP.

YA Fantasy Romance

"Charlie" is a spoiled little princess who has to mature in a hurry to save her kingdom. So, nothing new so far. Her fiance has been abducted by the terrible bad guys. With a hair-brain scheme but much determination, she and her best friend set off and find disaster at every turn. Through a series of events she's then teamed with her fiance's older brother, with whom she has bad blood, to save the day. Then, book 1 ends. It's an OK story but written very much with a YA slant.

Amazing story, can't wait for more!!!

I really enjoyed this story!! Charlie, the female MC is a great character and starts out like the typical sheltered princess. She is very headstrong and I liked reading along as she faced real life outside of the palace walls. I listened to the audio version and the narration was amazing!!
I need the next book pronto!!!

Winter's captive

I like how the queen to be is willing to put her life in danger to find her love. But even though she is trying to help find him. She is thinking of her people. By see what they are going though. Its like her eyes are being opened and you can tell that ones she finds her love she will do what she can to help her people because you can tell it hurts her to see her people like that. I cant wait to see what happens next.

I enjoyed listening to this book a lot. It had a nice pace and a good mix of adventure and intrigue. The characters were likable and I’m hoping there’s a follow up novel soon. "I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review."

Hooked

Winter's Captive had me hooked from the first page. Charlie and Logan are just amazing I loved listening to this awesome book

simply amazing

When I first started this audiobook-- I thought this is a retelling of Mulan (loosely but still similar). it starts out the heroine's fiancee is kidnapped. The future Queen (heroine) overhears a plot to sabotage the search mission -- the same one her brother is leading. So she sets off to help aid the troops and find the love of her life.
I really enjoyed this story quite a bit. It's got your love match, some kidnapping and at the very very end (which ends on a cliffhanger btw) your mystery. I'm very excited to read on even with out the audio just to find out what happens.
this is def one of those books that once you start you will not put it down till the very end!!!

I really enjoyed this book. The ending has left me wanting to buy the next one as soon as possible. It's a great story and I think that the princesses love is not who she thinks he is and that there is someone else for her. ...I like the narrator but I am not sure her voice suits this story, that is the reason performance got 4 star.
