fabulous book and narrators!

I loved llrhis dark and sexy retelling of Snow White. Lexi never disappoints and is my one click author. This book has everything, hot characters and alpha domince. I was stressed at some point with Snow and her decisions but know that I can always count on a happy ending with reading/listening to Lexi's books. Kale Williams narration and voice is the best. I could listen to him all day! Same with Sarah Puckett. She is fabulous! They know how to bring this characters to life!

Gimme more of this good stuff

I won’t lie, when I first started listening to this book, slight retelling of Snow White, I was very nervous. Not becoming I don’t have faith in Ms Foss’ storytelling, but because you never now how a retelling will go.
Y’all, I can’t express how good this story is. Kazek almost rivals Ryder (Rebel Bitten) for delicious alpha hero in my book. The way he handles Winter (Snow), the support he gives her, how he just throws his alpha yumminess around, I could gush and giggle about him for a long time.
Winter (Snow) almost had me questioning how her character would develop, but Ms Foss doesn’t do weak women, so I keep listening. I throughly enjoyed listening to Winter grow into her strength.
I highly recommend listening to this book or this entire series, but you don’t have to have the others in the series to enjoy this one.

Hot, Sexy Snow with her “Prince” Charming

Lexi has returned us to the dystopian post apocalypse infested world of the beginning of the 22nd century. I’ve been craving more of this since we first entered it in Andorra Sector, and this novel doesn’t disappoint.

This is a dark fairy tale retelling of Snow White, with intriguing plot devices and ties back to the original story. That said, it isn’t as simplistic as the story we all know, adding Lexi‘a trademark dark spins and plenty of rutting fun into the mix.

Winter (h) and Kazak (H) have an interesting dynamic in this story. Omega verse novels can be difficult, and authors need to draw a fine line where their alphas need to be domineering, omegas need to be submissive, but not to grossly terrible degrees. Lexi truly knows how to skirt this line - giving her omegas an iron willed backbone that challenges their submissive animal sides. It makes the omegas so much more interesting and fun to read.

With that said, I do have some minor critiques in this one. Lexi always takes the time to truly develop her characters, but this time it felt a little left behind. There are a few minor plot elements that were meant to sound big, especially coming from the H’s history, but yet they didn’t end up being an issue at all - almost being forgotten about in the excitement of the finale. In addition, for the first time I felt like the sexual relationship between H and h replaced some of the relationship building (although this isn’t unique to this series or author, I feel that regularly when it comes to shifter stories).

That said, I still enjoyed this immensely. I would give it a really strong 4.5/5, which still shows my absolute love for the author and the series.

Kale and Sarah are absolutely stunning in their performances as per usual. Kale brings Kazek to life, a slight accent reminding me a bit of Issac from the Immortal Curse series which just makes me heart beat faster! And Sarah again brings and emotional roller coaster ride to her characters, making Winter sound less like an entitled princess and more the strong developing heroine Lexi intended. Truly, their performances and the overall production value seal the deal on this book and make it that much more exciting.

Highly recommend picking this up!!

Dark and sexy Snow White

A wolf shifter tale inspired by Snow White, but with a dark and super sexy twist, this book is definitely not your mother’s fairy tale. After Snow overhears her fiance and step mother plotting her death, she decides to flee with the aid of her protective seven, who send her to the Norse sector seeking refuge, stowing away on the plane of a visiting alpha, Kazek. Kazek, and turned, not born, Alpha with no interest in ruling any territories, is intrigued by Snow and her strong willed attitude, and when he discovers she has stowed away on his plane, decides to teach her a lesson as alpha. But that “lesson” quickly changes the course of both their lives and fates, and years of secrets and lies are uncovered that spur Snow to want to return and take back Winter sector as the rightful ruler. The back and forth, constant battle and passion they have both pulls them apart and throws them together, very powerful and difficult to resist. As Snow comes to terms with what she must do, and Kazek comes to terms with his feelings and what he must do, they fight together to defeat Vanessa and take back Snow’s kingdom. It’s brutal and sexy, and the narration is absolutely spot on - Kale Williams and Sarah Puckett never seem to disappoint in their expert character delivery.

Never disappointed!

This story was a steamy tidbit that had me hooked from the start. It’s action packed, emotional and so highly addictive that I didn’t want to stop reading/listening.

The main characters were well written, the story had a great plot. It revolves around a head strong Alpha male, Kazek, that was satisfied with his second in command spot in the Norse Sector. He is sent by his Alpha to offer the Sector’s congratulations to a lovely royal female named Snow, who was getting married in the Winter Sector. One meeting is all that it took and Kazek can’t put her out of his mind.

Unbeknownst to all, she was endangered of being killed and needed to get out of Winter Sector immediately- leaving the only option to stow away in Kazek’s jet. The plot thickens…..This story was captivating and I enjoyed the story in itself. I feel like there hasn’t been a great connection of linking all three of the books together as a series yet other than the alpha in the Norse Sector is Ander’s father and Mic is his brother. I’m hoping that there will be a better tie together in the next book.

As always the narrators did a fantastic job on this book and look forward to the next!

This telling will leave you laying awake!!!

This book was beautifully written & narrated!! Its a dark retelling of Snow White and it's absolutely beautiful!! I absolutely loved listening to this!! I laid awake well into the night listening to this as I just couldn't stop until the book was over!! Lexi C Foss has always had a way to draw you into her worlds & keep you reading or listening until the book was complete!! Kale Williams and Sarah Puckett are magnificent in the telling of the story!! Their voices definitely are compatible and they work so well together!! Overall I gotta say, don't let this gem of a book slip threw your hands!!

Couldn’t hit pause!!

Loved loved loved!!! A very sexy, shifter retelling of Snow White. But this Snow has backbone and isn’t happy that her Prince, in this case the Huntsman, is saving her. The back and forth, misunderstandings and constant battle for dominance is sexy, alluring and emotional. Can’t wait for more!

You will drool over this Dark Prince!

This was my first audible but I can honestly say that I am completely hooked! I usually read entirely too fast, but listening allowed me to savor the story and tune out the kids. And in the voice of Kale...this book was Magnificent, Baby! There may have been another choice word in there that I had to omit. I would recommend this story to anyone who enjoys a dark and seductive twist on all of those fairy tales that we grew up watching as kids. Lexi writes with a penchant towards dark with a swirl of suspense and a big dallop of romance. You can’t help but fall in love with her characters...but tread carefully. They are very possessive of their mates!

This series gets better and BETTER!!

A rightful Queen...a reluctant Alpha...does it get better?! The twists and turns in this one were exciting and I couldn't wait to get my earbuds in every day!! Lexi creates characters that are hard to forget and these narrators bring them to life like no other! I can't get enough!!
