This one might be my favorite of the series

Oh Kazek… He’s the very definition of an alpha-hole, but I absolutely love him. Lexi Foss wrote him with razor-sharp intensity, and Kale Williams brings that fire to life with a narration so perfect, it’s like Kazek was made for him. Sarah Puckett also delivers a beautiful, emotional performance as Winter, capturing the quiet strength of her character. This book is a dark and creative twist on the Snow White tale, featuring Winter and her seven guardians. Each with nods to the beloved dwarves we know, but reimagined in a way that feels fresh and compelling. I thought the concept was brilliant and enjoyed this tale. I admittedly started backward, reading the Blood Sector series first. I highly recommend beginning with the X-Clan series to get the full emotional weight and backstory of this world. Lexi’s interconnected storytelling really shines when read in order. Fair warning: this series has some triggers. There are some intense themes involving omegas who were drugged, trafficked, and abused throughout the series. Justice and healing play a central role, as these characters reclaim their lives and futures, but do be mindful of the triggers. Kazek himself gives a trigger warning at the start of the story. Please do take a moment to review them before diving in. These stories are raw and emotional at times, but they’re ultimately about survival, recovery, and love. Kazek is unapologetically alpha. He doesn’t see obstacles, only things to punch through. As a rare turned wolf (rather than born), and formerly a highly trained special forces "hunter," he’s a force of nature with a bloodlust for battle. Yet, when it comes to Winter, his fierce loyalty and protectiveness will make your heart melt. (Yep, Swoon- worthy male!)
This book solidified my obsession with the X-Clan universe. If you’re a fan of gritty, emotionally charged paranormal romance with a heavy dose of action and spice, this is the series for you.

fabulous book and narrators!

I loved llrhis dark and sexy retelling of Snow White. Lexi never disappoints and is my one click author. This book has everything, hot characters and alpha domince. I was stressed at some point with Snow and her decisions but know that I can always count on a happy ending with reading/listening to Lexi's books. Kale Williams narration and voice is the best. I could listen to him all day! Same with Sarah Puckett. She is fabulous! They know how to bring this characters to life!

Love this Series! Worth the Credit!

The narrators are AWESOME, Lexi C. Foss's writing pulls you in and keeps you locked in!!!!! I couldn't put it down, I was up until 5 am and eventually passed out but went right back after I woke up, and WOW!!!! It's worth the Credit!

I really enjoyed this and it for sure is my favorite in this series so far!

Hot, Sexy Snow with her “Prince” Charming

Lexi has returned us to the dystopian post apocalypse infested world of the beginning of the 22nd century. I’ve been craving more of this since we first entered it in Andorra Sector, and this novel doesn’t disappoint.

This is a dark fairy tale retelling of Snow White, with intriguing plot devices and ties back to the original story. That said, it isn’t as simplistic as the story we all know, adding Lexi‘a trademark dark spins and plenty of rutting fun into the mix.

Winter (h) and Kazak (H) have an interesting dynamic in this story. Omega verse novels can be difficult, and authors need to draw a fine line where their alphas need to be domineering, omegas need to be submissive, but not to grossly terrible degrees. Lexi truly knows how to skirt this line - giving her omegas an iron willed backbone that challenges their submissive animal sides. It makes the omegas so much more interesting and fun to read.

With that said, I do have some minor critiques in this one. Lexi always takes the time to truly develop her characters, but this time it felt a little left behind. There are a few minor plot elements that were meant to sound big, especially coming from the H’s history, but yet they didn’t end up being an issue at all - almost being forgotten about in the excitement of the finale. In addition, for the first time I felt like the sexual relationship between H and h replaced some of the relationship building (although this isn’t unique to this series or author, I feel that regularly when it comes to shifter stories).

That said, I still enjoyed this immensely. I would give it a really strong 4.5/5, which still shows my absolute love for the author and the series.

Kale and Sarah are absolutely stunning in their performances as per usual. Kale brings Kazek to life, a slight accent reminding me a bit of Issac from the Immortal Curse series which just makes me heart beat faster! And Sarah again brings and emotional roller coaster ride to her characters, making Winter sound less like an entitled princess and more the strong developing heroine Lexi intended. Truly, their performances and the overall production value seal the deal on this book and make it that much more exciting.

Highly recommend picking this up!!
