Great Story

Such a great story and easy read. Love this author. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

pleasant surprise

I had not encountered this author before. I chose the book just on the blurb. So very glad I did. The narration was perfect. An easy comfortable voice to listen to. The author's story telling ng was first rate and kept me spellbound.

As expected.

This book was pleasant, Alto not very eventful. It was as expected, no surprises,
It barely. kept my interest enough to finish it.

My Wife Loved It

The eBook had great reviews and I purchased the audio for my wife at Christmas. She loved it and finished it before New Years day. She told me the characters were real, heartwarming, and the narrator just brought it all to life. (This was one of her first audiobooks, I think she's hooked!)

She practically ignored me one evening as she got near the end, so there must be something there.

She told me she's buying the "Spring in Sweetwater" next, so that tells me I selected a winner. (I didn't know it was a series, I guess there are even more...)

I listened to some of it and the narrator is great, but frankly not my style of story, even if it is excellent (per the reviews and my wife).

Very engaging voice, so I can see why it worked well for this story.

This story could have been interesting but

It lacks credibility on matters of family law. At some point, Marc threatens to seek legal custody of the child. On what grounds? Eric doesn't challenge this ridiculous claim. There are witnesses when he states that he will then place the child away. Furthermore he is not even detained after trespassing and scaring his rx-fiancée. What gives? Although there are warm and fuzzy moments, one wonders why the plot is so poorly developed.
