Love this series
I loved the first book so much and this one had so much of what I loved from the first one. I’m so happy to have gotten more of these characters. I’m so happy with how much more they’ve been fleshed out. There’s such wonderful world building and a good amount of action. I can’t wait to see what else may happen and I want so much more of these characters. The narrator did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life

Fantastic!
Really enjoyed this one, the second in the Bel's War series from AC Andrews. It had fantastic world building, compelling characters and well fleshed out side characters and a great storyline! I loved the story from start to finish and now I need the next book! Isacc Grisham did a good job narrating this though I don't believe he has the range quite yet to be able to carry such a sizeable cast of characters. Overall a super good listen!

Naval sections my favorite part
Magical action everywhere in this one along with the actions of the gods. The search for allies is going slowly, but very interesting things are happening at sea with Demari. The naval parts were my favorite in this one, as I'm an old Hornblower fan. Every character in the story faces life altering challenges in this book and if you enjoyed the first one, this one is even better and more complex. Isaac Grisham does a wonderful job with all the characters.
