Absolutely amazing life that God has given him his wife and his four daughters.
Very inspiring book, what real men are made of, strong enough to steer grizzly in the face, and not be in the pants. Humble enough to admit, they need card in every area of their life only then will they have true success.

I will recommend it to my 5 sons

When I get back from this hunting trip I’m on sitting in the woods in Georgia this December 19, 2023, how old is son Chris just harvested 152 inch lifetime buck I plan on contacting Rocky and see if I can afford to take all six of us out there for one of these adventures!!

God, Alaska, & Hunting!!

An incredible story of Faith, trials, and adventure. Being born and raised in Alaska I was intrigued by the potential this book presented. It did NOT disappoint! Through the highs and lows of owning a guide hunting business, within the beautiful, rugged, and unforgiving backdrop of the Last Frontier, Mr. McElveen shares his faith, hopes, dream, sorrows, joys, and challenges. I laughed, I cried, and yearned for home. Highly recommend.
