Sweet Romance

This is the sixth book in the Wilder Irish Series. Landon and Sunnie's story is sweet, sexy, and heartwarming. This is a great fake relationship romance. Lee Daniels and Connor Brown did a great job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. #PFPAudio

Good story

I love the Collins family and it was great to listen to Landon and Sunny’s story. Narrators did a wonderful job bringing the story and characters to life.

okay, this was such a cute book. I enjoyed every bit of it. I love the idea that they have been friends since they were kids. but it took them one drunk 🥴 and crazy night to realize they both had some kinda feelings for each other.

Hot Cop and Sexy Nurse!

What’s not to love about this one? Hot Cop, Sexy Nurse, best friend little sister trope, wonderful dialogue and quite a fun family. Well that says it all! This is enjoyable and sweet! Their relationship build is well done and made me fall for them too. The Collins family is one of my favorite things about this! Always in each others back pockets but in a loving manner..who can’t love a PopPop!

I listened to this on audio. Lee Daniels and Connor Brown did a great job on the narration! I enjoyed listening to them

Best Friends

Really enjoyed this, best friend's that grow up in each other's lives and after a kiss the relationship starts to change. It was a really cute story with great narration. Can't wait to read more from this author.

Loved this steamy Hot Cop Sexy Nurse Romance! ❤️

This is the first book I listened to in this series and I loved it!  Landon, Finn and Finn’s younger sister Sunnie have been best friends since they were kids. Sunnie always seemed to date guys that weren’t good for her because she never wanted to be serious with anyone.  When Landon’s long-time GF leaves him for her career and he is now single, he starts spending more time with Sunnie.  As they spend more time together, Landon sees her a bit differently.  They share an April fool’s kiss when they are drunk and both pretend that they don’t remember it.  Then someone tries to steal Sunnie’s purse and Landon, who is a cop, sees this while on patrol, and while helping her, kisses her once she is safe.  That kiss goes viral from a reporter so they pretend to be dating to get people to leave them alone at their work.  I loved watching their relationship grow and all their friends and family getting behind Landon.  Landon is a such a sweet guy just wanting to make Sunnie happy forever.  This was a sexy, romantic story with a great cast of characters. I loved it so much that I couldn’t put it down once I started listening to it.  Lee Daniels and Connor Brown did a great job with the narration!  The voices were perfect for all the characters and the emotions.

This is the sixth book in the Wilder Irish series. This can be listened to as a standalone. I enjoyed this quick brother’s best friend. She was the younger tag along sister. Their relationship also starts as a fake dating situation. Lee Daniels and Connor Brown did a fantastic show narrating this book.

It is great to be back in Mari Carr’s “Wilder Irish” series for another fabulous romance novel, a brother’s best friend, best friends to lovers, romantic comedy. Sunday “Sunnie” Collins has known Landon most of her life, he is best friends with her brother and is practically family. He even told their grandpop that he wanted to be a Collins, and he has always shared his words of wisdom with him. Fast forward into adulthood, Sunnie became a nurse and Landon cop, with Sunnie’s father being his boss. When Landon stumbles upon a robbery in progress, he was not expecting the victim to be Sunnie, the feisty girl was not letting go of her Louis Vuitton. Landon jumps in to her rescue and someone caught the entire incident on camera, and posted the heroic rescue, and stolen kiss, which went viral on social media. His boss, her father, saw it, but that was not the only problem, his notoriety was drawing women and media to the station house. He realizes what he has to do, he needs someone to pose as his girlfriend to how he is not single and he knows the perfect someone, Sunnie. He also had an ulterior motive to show Sunnie she is his, and he is hers. There is never a dull moment in this book, the writing, plotting and world building is fantastic, as is the character growth and development. The story has the perfect balance of drama, charm, humor, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Mari Carr, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride. 

🎧📚🎧  And for the fantastic narration, Lee Daniels and Connor Brown continue to do an amazing job bringing these characters to life. They understand the characters they are portraying, give each a voice that was fitting and believable in every role they play. Connor Brown’s Landon is spot on, grasping every side of his personality, and Lee Daniels does the same as Sunnie, brings out her feistiness too. Both were just as fabulous performing all the secondary roles, accent and all. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These talented voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the fabulous listen. 

Book 6 - can be standalone

This is book 6 in Carr's Wilder Irish series and can easily be read as a standalone. I've had the opportunity to read / listen to some in this series and each is a wonderfully sweet and steamy romance, and this is no exception. Carr delivers a well written, beautifully narrated romance that checks off all my boxes. Dual narration by Daniels and Brown are stunning as their voices bring to life our main characters of Landon and Sunnie as well as other characters. Landon and Sunnie have known each other since childhood and been friends for just as long. While Landon is technically Sunnie's brother Finn's bestie the three have been like family for a while now...but all that changes on a drunken April fool that sets all the rest in motion. I love that these main characters already have intimate knowledge of each other and because of that are able to act and react to them accordingly. I also love the support and interactions of all the secondary characters as well as how this best friend to lovers is also a fake it til ya make it romance too! Wonderfully written, great balance of sweet and steam and oh my Landon in the bedroom (fan the flushed cheeks)! Some great humor as well - an overall wonderful romance. I can't wait for more!!!

Short, Sweet, Steamy

Mari Carr is an excellent author. Shorter stories are hard to make believable, but this was perfectly written. I love brother’s best friend and childhood friendship tropes. These characters are easy to like, add a great storyline, and this was an audiobook I didn't want to pause!

Conner Brown and Lee Daniels are excellent narrators. They brought this audiobook to life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head. Perfection.
