Publisher's Summary

In the new Leopard novel by the number-one New York Times best-selling author of Cat's Lair and Leopard's Prey, passions explode like wildfire when a young woman's feral instincts are ignited by a man who's too dangerous not to desire....

A simple request for Siena Arnotto: deliver a gift to her grandfather's friend. One look at Elijah Lospostos, hard bodied and stripped to the waist, and Siena succumbs to a feline stirring she never felt before, and to Elijah's reckless and pleasurable demands. But when that pulse-throbbing moment ends in the murder of an unexpected intruder, Elijah accuses the shaken and confused Siena of setting him up.

Then Siena discovers the truth of her Leopard heritage, of the secrets in her grandfather's inner circle and the sinister plot of revenge that has put her in jeopardy. When Siena's grandfather is assassinated, she realizes the only man she can trust is Elijah. Now, as her Leopard rises from within, Siena and Elijah share not only an animal instinct for survival - but a desire so raw and wild it may be the only thing that can save them.

This is what Feehan's books have become.

Overloaded with sex, as usual, but more graphic and vulgar. Whiney heroine, ridiculously overprotective hero who treats the heroine like a dull witted child and carries her everywhere. Her stories used to be amazing, if over sexed. Now with 4 series on the go she seems more concerned with quantity over quality. And HORRIBLE reader! She sounds constantly on the verge of tears and makes the heroine sound weaker and whiner than necessary.

Why are all the characters so one dimensional?!

Please for all that is holy and divine make the next main characters of your book series less needy and emotional. Why are all the males full of crap and all the females emotionally wrecked. Please have the next leads be a TALL, curvy but muscular/athletic, ex-navy/marine, kick-butt female heroine mated with a strong confident but understanding non-emotionally ignorant male character who can take charge without being a total out of control domineering jerk to his female. Do male leopards all come with this attitude, do all female leopards have to be sexually-inexperienced and naive with little confidence and no ability to defend themselves? That girl Cat had martial arts training and still could barely defend herself. Also are all leopards white, Latino or mixed white-Latino, there are leopards all over the world, where are the black and Asian leopards? You have a lair located outside of New Orleans and no one in it is black, does that make any sense? Please stop making every book the same plot with different characters or you'll just lose readers.

Elijah was my favorite character after he was briefly introduced in Wild Rain. Now I can't stand him or his female Sienna, they are both warped and really should seek help. When you end up listening to half a book on 3X speed just to get through the sex scenes that make up half the book then you know the book is pure crap. Wild Rain was so freaking amazing, WHY DID YOU HAVE TO STOP WRITING THESE BOOKS LIFE THAT!! Read this book at your own risk people, you'll end up disappointed and uncomfortable...

Wild cat

Karen White did a great job reading Wild Cat. The book itself was more of sex than anything. It started off great. Then you had 3 chapters of just sex. Then you had a chapter with great substance. Finally, the book ends with a cliff hanger of questions. This is the first book I have read from Christine Feehan. I will probably give another one of her books a try. She seems like a great writer- she just seems to have gotten taken away with A lot of sex. Romance, sex,& action- together are great. If you have one without the other. Well, to me this is the story line you end up with.

Not Enough Story Development Unless...

Great story bones not enough meat...unless you are looking for lots and lots of sex. In that case, this is the book for you.

less sex and more story.

would have liked more storytelling than sex. it was as if you had to have at least 3 sex scenes to every sentence without a sex scene. it really took away from the book. it is my least favourite of the series. I will try 1 more book to see if it jumps back on track with the series if not I will stop listening to this particular series.

A little disappointed

I have listened to all of this series and usually they are riveting. Unfortunately this was not the case here. Hours of sex and whining but almost no action, but I await the next one.

Sexy, sexy, sexy....

I love the narrator! I also like the sassy females and touches of humor in these books. Makes them fun to listen to!
