Like a bad porn movie!

This has got to be one of the worst books I have ever read. It was like watching a really bad porn movie. Don't waste your money or time!

Save me!

This book felt under developed to me. The ending was very rushed. There was so much more that could have happened. It is a shame, because the story was pretty good and interesting but all of a sudden it just fell apart.

A Girl Running From Her Abuser and The Man Who Protects Her

Stormy/Stella is hiding from an abusive ex who wants to kill you. She bartending when a gorgeous alpha man Logan Wild, has a drink at his friend's bar. There is an undeniable connection. After he saves her from an assault, walks her home, and they become intimate. He's a PI ex Navy Seal who has feelings for her he can't ignore. She also has feelings for him.
Logan has 3 brothers who are also alpha and gorgeous...up coming books. They all care for their mother who was blinded when her husband was killed in a burglary. The sons are so wonderful, which we all know is indicative of a wonderful man...they can be sexual, but not manwhore...
I loved the story...I love the narrator...deep voice but he did a great job with the female voices by not faking it..which is always bad.
Well worth the purchase.

No, just no!

Melissa Foster exceeds at writing sweet romances. In this instance, I think she should stick with what she is good at and not muddy her area of expertise. The storyline is good, but the instances where explicit content is included seems forced and just does not 'gel' with her style of writing. No, just please no.

Dylan Wild can guard my body anyday

It was my pleasure getting to know Logan, seeing Dylan, Jackson, Cooper, Heath, and seeing Stormy morph to Stella. I still love her as Stormy. See had a hard sic months. She was tough and scarred all at the same time. You could see from first meeting Logan that he was a protector at heart. He was down right sexy.

This was a littledgier than Melissa's usual red as but nevertheless very much welcomed. The intensity added to it's appeal. This wild boy was not really all that wild.

My only drawback to narrator, Robert, was that at time Stormy sounded like a male.

Good HEA Romance

This was a nice quick and hot little romance with a HEA, the way we always like them! Logan was a PI, former military man battling a traumatic event that happened to his parents as well as the events of war. Stella was on the run from an abusive ex trying to kill her and hiding her identity as Stormy Night. Love the name! Logan was never into relationships, and Stella was too afraid to try again after what she just went through with her ex. They both had to give a little to finally see each other and give in to their love for one another. I definitely loved the narrator's voice on this one and he filled the hero's persona to a T.

HAWT!

Logan was in a bar and was attracted to the bartender called Stormy. Her name was really Stella and she was hiding from an abusive boyfriend. They have a real stormy passionate time of it. The narrator put real passion in his voice. Real emotion felt throughout.

Good book!

As the first book of her new Wild Boys series Melissa Foster continues to create stories that pull the reader in and keep them captivated. I loved the references to characters from her other books to tie her works together while setting them apart. I also loved the character's strong values for family, trust and honesty.

While the book is different than her other works, it kept me interested and unable to put down. Logan is a private investigator that stumbles upon Stella and works tirelessly to keep her safe from an ex-boyfriend who is determined to kill her. The pair struggled with their feelings for each other as well as dealing with their own inner struggles in life.

The narration of this book was excellent. I enjoyed Mr. Kraft's performance of this book as his voice had me hooked even before he started telling the story. He told the story well and enthusiastically. I can't wait to hear him tell the rest of the books in the series!

Great intro to this series!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I liked the book, but to me, the ending of the story was a little lacking.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Logan the tortured SEAL. His sense of family and his protective instincts were great.

What does Robert Ashker Kraft bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The emotion in his voice during some of the scenes really sold it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not really.

Any additional comments?

I would have liked to have had a woman for Stella's parts. It just always helps me when a woman is reading, too. I liked the narration though and it was done well. The story was good, but I thought there was going to be more of a conflict at the end so I was a little disappointed. Overall, it was a good story and well narrated.

Suspenseful, Seductive Romance!

This first book in the Wild Billionaires After Dark series is off to a scorching start! It is the perfect mix of suspense, romance and hot and steamy passion. Logan Knight is an irresistible, intense, and sexy alpha male. He will do whatever it takes to protect and save those in need. But things change when his protective nature kicks in for Stella 'Stormy' Knight. She is not just a job. She is smart, sassy and sexy, with a gift for hiding who she really is. The sparks ignite between them and their passion is off the charts. But they both have their secrets that could put them in jeopardy. This is a fast paced, exhilarating story that will keep you totally engaged.
Robert Ashker Kraft's smooth, deep voice is easy to listen to and his inflections only help to make this even more exciting!
It was fun meeting the Wild family and I can't wait to listen to Heath's story next!

Turning hotness in to darkness

I found the use of the audio is brilliant it captured the whole book. Robert did really well capturing each character and portrayed them how I imagined it's nice to have it hands free when you are going to the gym or a car journey just make sure to you have the jax in the head phones properly so you don't get red faced in certain parts lol. I loved my first book and it won't be my last.

Love conquers all

Would you listen to Wild Boys After Dark: Logan again? Why?

Sadly not, but it had nothing to do with the story, i just didn't like the narrator. The story was fabulous.

What other book might you compare Wild Boys After Dark: Logan to, and why?

Bad Boy: Mick. It's on par for the steam and wildness!

Would you listen to another book narrated by Robert Ashker Kraft?

No, I really didn't like his voice

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

WOW!

Any additional comments?

I love Melissa Foster books, she never disappoints. This was a great story. Poor Stella, a little lost along the way to finding a full heart, but in sweeps Logan! Letting Stella know her worth, with protectiveness and care.

Brilliant!!!

What did you like most about Wild Boys After Dark: Logan?

I listened to this book through Audio and loved it!

My first audio book and hopefully the first of many.

I have read all of Melissa's books so far and this book is a little risky compared to her other books but that's what made me love it more.

The sexual tension between Logan and Stormy from the first time they meet is electric and you may need a cold shower from page one lol!!

Stormy is running from her past and Logan is trying to deal with a heartbreaking past, they help each other overcome their fears and fall madly in love.

A steamy love match that has you hooked from page one!!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Oh this is a difficult one but it has to be Logan. He has been through so much but always willing to help others. The man is sexy with a capital S!

What does Robert Ashker Kraft bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

As my first audio book his voice lured me in just as much as the words on Melissa's pages.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were a few however the moment Logan opened up to his mother about the secret he has been carrying. I cried.

Any additional comments?

Loved this story!!

WOW!

Would you consider the audio edition of Wild Boys After Dark: Logan to be better than the print version?

I enjoyed both the audio and the print version of this book. It took bit of getting used to a male voice for Stormy.

What did you like best about this story?

The Wild Boys series is completely different to Melissa's other series. It's raw emotion, and language give it more of an edge and feel.

What about Robert Ashker Kraft’s performance did you like?

I loved his voice. It matched my image of Logan, it was perfect.

Any additional comments?

I loved this audio book as much as the printed version. My only mistake was listening to it while I was trying to work, it distracted me too much lol!
The story of Logan and Storm is quite a rollercoaster. They both have a past and reasons they don't give in to their hearts, but together they find away back to being able to love and receive love. The book is written with all the emotion you come to expect from Melissa, and once you start, you can't stop.
The voice of Robert Ashker Kraft is very soothing and suits Logan well. It took a while to get used to his voice for Storm, but I soon got used to it.

Great story, stilted narration

What three words best describe Robert Ashker Kraft’s performance?

I found it difficult to get comfortable with the narrator, it might be personal taste, but I found his voice a little stilted to the detriment of the story.

Any additional comments?

I love Melissa Foster's books and was a little wary as to how this new series would evolve, but I didn't need to be!
Melissa keeps her romantic, swoon worthy writing style and allows us to get entrenched into the goings on of another large softie in the middle family, and a storyline that keeps you on your toes.
Different from her other books, yet feels the same, I thoroughly recommend to Melissa Foster fans and beyond. A great start to a new series.
