Love this series man I hope you keep getting more of these audiobooks out for them.

To slow story

I feel like they story is going to slow and that the story will get abandoned before finished. This is book 5 and its still 3 years away from the first major event in his last life. I like most of brandon varnells series so I hope he speeds the story up a bit.

another good story

Great performance, great story and solid characters.
My main complaint is that these books are way way too short for my liking.
That and the ending was the worse!
Loved it though and cannot wait for the next.

Decreasing story writing quality

The character grant goes from being a antagonist to a one tone villain who is ultimately thrown away at the first opportunity really quite pathetically.
First chapter opens up with the sex scene,can’t say I have approve.
All in all the quality goes from an interesting story to fanfiction.
Main character acts unnecessarily aggressive to people who are simply seeing a Laamia for the first time in their life and act understandably surprised.

An excellent continuation of the story, but a bit slow.

Right now I am reading all of these novels on Kindle, and this book is exactly how I remember it. It feels like a bridge between the first four books and the next ones. Though the book was good there was really no conclusions. Every bit of the story felt like it was a set up for a bigger plot line. So overall, it would seem like not that good of a story, but once you mix in the previous books and the following books, it’s not that bad. Of course that means I am highly looking forward to the following audiobooks in the series.

Another great chapter in the series

I always look forward to the book in this series. The author and the performers always keep up with there talent and never disappoint. I just wish the series would come out more often. When is the next audio coming out? Soon Please!!

Good timing

Appreciate that when things got intense during the present there wasn't a bunch of past flash backs to interrupt the moment

I think I left off somewhere around book 11 and I believe book 14 is just come out. life has been busy but I always have time for a good audiobook and this one definitely makes the cut. a little sad about the character introduce at the ending of this book. I'm hoping that somewhere down the line there's some sort of Resurrection Arc or something that explains why the author chose to handle that character the way he did. regardless this is now my favorite series from this author. it used to be American Kitsune and that one still is a favored but when I think of this author I'm thinking of this series as the gold star.

I am still not a fan of the flipping back and forth between the 1st and 2nd chance. still amazing series want more like yesterday

Good story liking the lore. I’m a little lost coming in at the fifth installment. But enjoying it nonetheless.
