I Flippin Loved it

Overall it was well written but I think Cope’s POV fell a little short. I know his acceptance was supposed to be gradual but I expected him to be more at war with himself, more self deprecating. But it didn’t ruin it for me. For the most part, I loved the book and I’m not so much into MM books- but I’m into Mr. Morgan and Teddy are you Ready Hamilton! Hahahahaha

This was my first true MM story and wow!!! The next will have a lot to live up to.

BFFs turned enemies turned lovers. Can I just say how in love I am with how things progressed for them.

Great story with hottie characters.

Teddy and Jacob played their parts perfectly.

One Of K. Webster's Best Written Novel!!!

"Wicked Lies Boys Tell," is now my All-Time Favorite and K. Webster's Best Written Novel since, "Red Hot Winter." Ms. Webster was VERY METICULOUS with her writing, keeping her readers/listeners enthralled chapter after chapter at bated breath; for what would occur next. There was such RAW EMOTIONS shared between the two boys, that I couldn't help but shed a few tears for them both.

It wasn't just the boys who told the WICKED LIES, the Father's told the more SKILLFUL & CONNIVING LIES. We had to know they learned to lie from somebody, what better teachers. With all the lies came the SECRETS, DECEPTION, PAIN and in the end REVENGE.

There couldn't have been two better narrators to be the voices of the main characters then Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan. They ENGULFED the characters as if it was TAILORED made just for them. I was so MESMERIZED by their performance, I couldn't imagine anyone else being the vocal storytellers of this novel. I wish I could give both narrators and Ms. Webster more than 5-⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐s but know you deserve so much more. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book to others.

Loved it !!!!

Great story and wonderful narrators! First book by this author. I decided to try it because I love Teddy and Jacob. I’ll be listening to many more. I really liked how the story was exciting but with low angst. The story moved quickly too which I loved and they never doubted each other. I’ll be honest the first chapter I wasn’t sure about continuing but it is well with it for an outstanding story. Amazing author who gives all the pieces at just the right time. Gonna look for more of her work now. And as always Teddy and Jacob were amazing too !!! Don’t miss this one. I smiled all through the epilogue.

When the narrators take a book to the next level!!

I’ll be honest: the story was OK. It didn’t blow me away. But what Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan (a new to me narrator) did with this story made it FANTASTIC!! 👏👏👏

Their dual POV storytelling helped gloss over the flat secondary characters, the OTT behavior, and hard to swallow storylines. Their performances brought Copeland and Penn to life for me and helped to suspend my disbelief while I followed them on their bumpy and angst road to an HEA.

The two MCs are ex-best friends. This is a wickedly TENSE enemies-to-lovers/GFY treat!! ❤️❤️❤️ The thrumming tension between the two 18 years olds was off the charts! And while these guys are in their teens and in high school, there is nothing YA about this HOT AS HELL book!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Penn ruined his friendship with Cope when he kissed him two years earlier. Now, Penn has to live every day with the hate that Cope throws at him every day—something he signs up for since he is completely in love with him.

Cope hates Penn because he ruined their friendship by kissing him. Both guys have ridiculously abusive fathers—emotionally and, for Penn, physically.

Soon in the story, the two friends reconcile and eventually end up together—and this is a yummy, tense trail we get to experience! 🔥🔥

They must remain closeted because of their fathers. They don’t truly rock the boat at home because their families hold the purse strings. And here is where things get OTT plot-wise and where you just have to go with it. I won’t spoil it for you, just believe me when I say that our narrators do an excellent job of transporting you through OTT-land!!

Flat and stereotypical side characters aside ( and this includes all side characters except maybe Leah) this was a scorching and wickedly delicious treat!! And two cherry popping scenes to savor! 💥😱💥

Buy this! You won’t regret it!!!

Cope and Penn 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

These boys are awesome. The heat between them is sweet. Their dedication and the necessity to be take care of each other is wonderful. I love when Penn came out at school. Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan are two of the hottest narrator's alone but together they are fabulous. I love this book, the author wrote a great book. I've definitely listened more than once!

Hot and... wicked

"Good book" would be a short way to speak about this audiobook. The story is interesting and gripping, with bits happening in between a lot of sex. Maybe a bit too much but never gross.
And the narration is absolutely excellent.

An enjoyable love story!

Penn and Cope’s love story was one that was written in the stars and was based on a rock solid friendship. Granted, there was a two year hiatus, but that had to be bridged. It was destined. A heat level 5 relationship, once Cope let himself get with the program of loving his childhood friend Penn, who was already in love with him and waiting, hoping for the day to reach that they could kiss. Hót, beautiful, unstoppable. It was well worth all the heartache to end up living out loud and proud in Europe. A great story that I give five solid stars. ❤️
