Publisher's summary

What tangled webs we weave . . .

He's everything I don't want. A playboy. A beast with a cunningly gorgeous smile. Faces like his only mean one thing. Somewhere underneath all of that handsomeness, there lies a monster.

And if anyone can sense a monster, it's me.

I understand cruelty. I've lived and breathed it my entire life. I existed on the "charity" of others until I realized that it wouldn't be enough. My demons would soon be set free. They were coming back for me and to be ready for them—to be ready for him—I needed to make myself invincible.

But it's not enough. If I'm going to survive, then I need to make an alliance with a monster of my own: Abel Frazier.

Contains mature themes.

Two Broken Souls

Abel & Rylie’s story moved at an even pace, no angst or cheating, and mild drama. MMC was rich, had daddy issues growing up, was forced to seduce women for his father and now a womanizer. He secretly wanted to have what he brother had. FMC grew up in foster care and was sexually abused at the age of six, then stalked by him. I’m glad their story was completed in one book with a HEA. There still is a mystery that is unsolved.

Incredible Story

This is another incredible story for the series! In this book we move on from Dean to Abel and watch as he falls in love with Riley and helps her with the monster from her past that stalks her. The male voice actor is great,he really helps to add to the story. The female voice actor does well while voicing female parts but then awful when voicing male parts. For some odd reason she started drawing out every word, it made guyssound creepy when they weren't. And the stalker was creepy but the way she voiced him just didn't fit. It really works so much better when the male voice actor does ALL male parts ALL the time and the female voice actor does all the female characters all the time. This book is worth the listen to if you can ignore how the female voice actor portrays the guys, otherwise it might be best to read this book. Whatever you do, don't miss it!

I have enjoyed each book so far.

The readers do a great job keeping me engaged in the story. She does the voices well. When you think of type of person she is describing, her voice was spot on.

It keeps u wanting more!!

Love the books all 4 but I’m really disliking the fact that I can’t listen to the rest of the series.

Abel <3

Sweet Abel! I’m so glad we got his story and now I need Brax’s story even more. I’ve been working my way through these as they’ve been available in the plus catalog and have enjoyed the journey quite a bit. These characters are broken and strong and it gets better as it goes on.

Sweet love story

I loved this book. Abel and Rylie are my favorites so far. It was a sweet love story. The author’s writing was better for this book. While I enjoyed the male narration for the first three books I didn’t even begin to like the female narration until book 4.

Finally Rylie and Abel get their story!

I love the Sick Boy series! I have a special spot for Ava and Dean but I am so excited Rylie and Abel finally have their story! They deserve it!

Loved this story of Abel and Riley

This was a beautiful story in a good series. I hated the female narrator’s male voices, she decided on making Abel sound like a pretentious, slimey, whiny clichè. The female narrator actually decided every voice but Riley’s needed to sound pretentious. She ruined Abel, but the male narrator voiced a really good Abel. The story was both incredibly sweet and incredibly triggering. Overall, I loved it and it was my favorite installment.

Female narrator

The female narrator was terrible. She was winey and cringy. Loved the male narrator. Story was good.
