I think Paige’s parents should have been turned into stone temporarily. Then turned back to humans, with a sense of humility and a change of heart, towards monsters. 
I love the sneak peek at the end. It always ends on a cliffhanger. Making me eager to read the next audiobook in the series. 

Love this series !!

I laughed so much during this story. You will love the older couple gran and uncle they are a Hoot!!! You will enjoy thus couple Unique pairing. Narrators as usual do a fantastic job bringing everything and everyone to life.

Favorite of the series so far!

This definitely has been my favorite of the series so far! The set-up was done well, I liked the angsty and second chance love tropes and we got a lot of story and steam in a short story so that was impressive. I was wondering about the gorgon introduced earlier in the series and we get his HEA which was great.

I will say the side characters and world this author has been working on in these different stories and the shared world/stories with the other authors gets better and better as you go further in the series. You get to see the couples from past stories and how they are doing. I loved seeing them and we get to have a friendly competition between them haha. I liked seeing some of the side characters find their people (I am unsure if they had their own story, gonna have to research that!) and see the couple that will probably be next in the story haha with their chemistry and enemies to lovers vibe going on!

I liked the storyline (4.5-5 stars from me!) but the narration was alright. Some things were good and some took me out of the story. I do wish we got a different type of narration here but I know that is the more expensive option so I understand. I thought they did a good job capturing the miscommunication, the hurt, and the overall storyline with the past issues. I liked the humor with the statues and some of the little easter eggs from the previous books. Overall 3.5-4 stars for the narration. I had a tough time picking 4 or 5 stars overall for this one but it's my favorite of the series so far so I am rounding up to a 5. I liked these characters a bunch and I felt for their pasts so much <3

Liked the monster genre but some substance is needed.

New England female accent and air brained gushing couldn’t help thin formula plot. Male narrator worked with what was given.
