Publisher's summary

Can you imagine living a better life? Would you like to surround yourself with more supportive people? There’s hope! You see, the quality of your life depends on the people in your life.

The simple and powerful ideas in this book can change your life forever.

Who’s in Your Room? introduces you to the concept of your life being like a room - a room where anyone who enters affects your life...forever. Although this concept may sound frightening, this book gives you the tools and exercises you need to take control of your room and live the life you desire.

This book brings in experts to describe how people leave you with memories that cannot be erased but can be managed. You manage them by determining what’s really important to you, and then you can determine how to spend your time and who you should be spending it with. Stop living according to everyone else’s rules. Shape your life by taking control of your room. Live your life by your design!

Simplistic But Powerful

Powerful book that outlines how people, media, and even TV can help you expand and grow or shrink and retreat. The more you prune what and who you allow to influence your thoughts, your time and your energy the more you will have for you. If you don't take care of yourself, who will?

poor quality

This book sounds like it was recorded with a microphone from Walmart and recorded in a bedroom. The poor production quality made it impossible for me to listen to. it was a waste of money.

Excellent succinct book!

This is a must listen for any busy person who wants to improve quality of time and people they associate with. Short, to the point and practical, it is worth listening to again and again.

Thoughtful

The story was great, Ivan and Stuart’s wisdom was challenging and thought provoking. My only critique is the repeated “just going off script” phrase. No need to say it 40 times in the book, just talk,

I am a huge BNI fan but this felt preachy

My business and I personally have benefited hugely from BNI and the Ivan Misner podcast so I thought this book would be a good fit. i was wrong. The concepts were good but the delivery was stale. Didn't make it to the end.

A feast for your ears

A shock to the soul that you’re just now realizing everything in this book is extraordinarily true. What a beautiful blend of on topic and off the record life lessons. We participate in BNI and this book is a wealth of practical knowledge!

Great Self Development Read/Listen

This book is great for aiding us to identify those in our lives that are contrary to our goals and values. The analogies in this book contribute great knowledge to the listeners in both finding those who belong in your life, strengthening relationships with those who are already in your life, and controlling the amount of energy given to those who do not belong in your life. This book is a book that requires the same as any other self development book. The requirement is ACTION. Taking action will show the value of this book tenfold, but just listening or reading to it will give you a skill to develop the life and path that you are seeking.

Recommend Getting the Actual Book If Possible

The book is more like a workshop rather than a book of theory / education. It takes time (more than 2hr) to finish as there are many mental and /or written exercise to learn myself and understand the technique, It's great to learn, but my expectation was spending 2-3 hours with the book.

The book is read with different speech style / pace / voice are. Couple of them can be improved by speaking more clear.
It refers website that are not available or changed. Please update the links in description if possible.

I think getting the book in paper to read is easier to understand and keep track of the process.
