The book was good. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a part of a series and I didn't know. I like reading things in order so I can understand them. There were several references to things that I felt like I was already supposed to know about. Otherwise, it was good! Looking forward to starting the series from the top.

Loved It!

Neta Jackson does it again! This is the last book in the House of Hope series. The ending however , leaves you wondering. What will happen to Lucy? The characters in this book and with others in the series are so believable and real. I'm formerly from Chicago and the description of the neighborhoods bring back memories .

Wonderful Series

I love Neta Jackson's books and have read or listened to the Yada Yada series and now the House of Hope series. The characters are quite loveable. The narrator changes after book two, once I got into the story, it was ok, though I loved the former narrator.

So sad it's over

How can this be the end when so many stories are left hanging!! There has to be more!
