The children were waiting. Waiting for centuries. Waiting for someone to hear their cries. Now nine-year-old Christie Lyons has come to live in the house on the hill - the house where no children have lived for 50 years. Now little Christie will sleep in the old-fashioned nursery on the third floor. Now Christie's terror will begin...When the Wind Blows the children must die!

Different type of story as to what I am used from John Saul but was still very intriguing and kept me wanting to read more and more. I always enjoy his writing style and this was no different. I highly recommend this book for all the John Saul fans.

These books are all so disturbing. He never writes a happy ending and you can count on that. But the stories are good, dark and very entertaining. I read most of them as a kid in the 80s but listening now has been great.

You don't read John Saul for a happy ending
