I heartily recommend

I read this book many many years ago, and it remains one of my all time favorites. I finally listened to the audible version and found the story to be just as intriging as I remember and the characters just as well developed. I still keep the paperback on my bookshelf. This one won't disappoint!

Exceptionally Great 👍

I first read this book Decades ago while still in High School. I credit this book with me passing 10th grade english 😆.

Even today after reading hundreds of books this one is still by far my favorite book writen by John Saul.

Never understood people saying I couldn't put the book down, I could put every book down up till this point it was not a problem for me.
I was told this so many times I didn't believe any of them.

I was given a copy so I finally broke down and started to read it. Too my surprise this is one I couldn't put down.
The first book I ever read cover to cover in a matter of a few days, even my 10th grade English teacher was amazed at the time as I hadn't read anything she assigned me 🤣.

Best John Saul book yet.

What a great book. I have only read a few books by John Saul. This one was by far the best. The ending was so creepy !!! This is a book I would read again. It makes you wonder about science in the future. If are looking for a book that will keep you reading long in to the night, then this one is it. Have fun reading a book full of science and horror!!

John Saul Doesn’t Miss

This novel was so good I couldn’t put it down. Pretty much listened to it non stop over 3 days. The best thing about the storyline was the character development and the twist at the end. Did not see it coming and a movie should be in the works. Another masterpiece, if you are hesitating don’t!

new anxiety as an expectant parent

I've been a huge John Saul fan since I was in middle school. I had read this book in the past and loved the creepy atmosphere but listening to it now with my first child on the way set off a whole new level of anxiety. My appreciation for John Saul's work increases as I get older and experience more in life.

A Solid Mind Game

As expected of John Saul, this is a messed up book. Its tense,and keeps you on you're toes. Makes you keep thinking; "Come on, use your head! You can survive if you THINK AHEAD!" But not all is as it seems, I guess.

Great Performance!!!

Jonathan Davis did a WONDERFUL performance!! I Adore John Saul Novels and this makes them come alive and all with the freedom to do other things as I listen.

worst John Saul book I have heard so far. too long, to technical, by the time I realized I didn't like the story line-I was too involved & struggled to finish. only book I turned up the listening speed on . narrator was the best thing aboit this book

I thought it was more on the horror side. Not governmental experiments. But it was still good.
