Awesome road trip!
Drove from TX to AZ for Thanksgiving to visit my husband who is completing training for his company in AZ. This was my first solo road trip cross state...also my first 15 hour drive (non stop..though numerous pit stops). This book got me all the way through and it was great! creative story line and a classic Saul plot twist ending! A master story teller that sprinkles mystery, suspense, and drama into each page. The trip prompted my download of this app and this is my first audiobook and im so glad!I cannot wait for my next Saul novel on the way back to TX!

SUCH TALENT!
Putting John Saul and Emily Sutton Smith was BRILLIANT!
This is one of the rare books that even after reading it at least twice, listening to it brought out details that were previously either overlooked or simply didn't stand out enough to make the reader understand the importance of said details!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Just okay
This book reminded me a lot of his book Black Creek Crossing. Alcoholic loser father, witch cat, bullied girl. It was more just sad and depressing than scary/thrilling.
