Outstanding

I loved their story. I couldn’t wait to hear more about Ras and his backstory.

Excellent addition to the series!

Overall, this story was great. I appreciated the pace and didn't feel it was too rushed like many other authors do.

One thing that distracted me throughout the book was the female narrator. On and off, it sounded like she had something in her mouth. There was also a part with a parrot where the sound quality was bad. Fortunately, it's short, and later in the book, it doesn't happen again.

I'm really looking forward to the next book.

Excellent Narration

I listened to this book because I really liked “When She Unravels”. This one has a good story. I felt very frustrated by Jemma’s inability to stand up for herself but I think you are supposed to feel that way about her family predicament. Ras is well played and a pretty complex guy you root for. I gave an “Overall” of 4 stars because the character of Cleo, the younger sister, is sooooo annoying and dense. Hard to see her with her own story. Think I’ll skip that one. This is a solid book. Great to listen to while exercising and long distance driving.

good 3rd installment

After reading the first two books, I just knew there would be a book for Raf and Gemma. I could not wait.

In the beginning, this book went from hooking me--to being slower or less interesting than the first two for me--back to being awesome and drawing me in with all of the drama and feels!

tbh I loved that Raf and Gemma got to fall in love❤️my f-ing heart.
not to mention the spice--and Raf's big, protective heart! he is amazing.

I could also really relate to Gemma in a lot of ways. was it annoying as hell that she kept her secret forever, and lived to be a doormat? sure, but that is what was so relatable. I use to be a similar way before healing . It really drew me to her-made me gst angry with her, and love her.
