Wonderful book

I really liked this book and how Aman rescues the girl from the bad guy. So much inspiration in this book and you can feel the warmth and love in the characters. Makes your heart smile in the end!

A nice surprise

I really didn't get into this book until a few chapters in but when John 'rescued' Alicia I was hooked! I love fake relationship stories- that is why I asked to read & review. It also took me awhile to get used to a male narrator but once I did I thought he did a really good job.

It was great to visit Belle Fourche again. Such a wonderful series. I'm looking forward to book 6!

Social status and marriage

This certainly was an interesting tale of how two clearly different people with different financial backgrounds came together. The usual marrying someone with hidden motives was here. What made it special for me is the time setting. I usually read or listen to books of that kind in the contemporary genre. It was refreshing to have all of it in the Western genre.

Something Worthwhile!

John has turned into a responsible adult who tries to do the 'right' thing whenever he can.
Alicia is a Bluestocking but she is also very shy and timid.
Along comes the bad man who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
Sounds familiar, doesn't it? But the way this particular story is written is brilliant and I loved everything about it from beginning to end.
On top of a super story the audio is by J. Scott Bennet who is just oh so perfect for this kind of book.
Thank you to two really talented artistes, for your combined efforts in making this something worthwhile.
