It has been said that Bailey Bryant lives with her middle finger up in the air. She can agree with that. But there's one thing she fails to be breezy about: her unrelenting attraction to fellow enforcer Deke Hammond. Broad, inked, and ruggedly masculine, the grumpy cat shifter could attract a stone. He's also currently riddled with touch-hunger and much crankier than usual. So she should probably stop poking at him for fun—he already despises her. Or so she thinks . . . until one of their disputes leads to an explosive kiss and an exchange of truths. That lip-lock creates a major issue—she now wants more. And there seems only one thing for it: She'll have to kiss him again.

Deke is a man of logic. He doesn't like what he doesn't understand. And he cannot explain why Bailey compels him like no one else. Constantly teasing and provoking him, the snake shifter drives him nuts. She takes nothing seriously—him included. Yet, he's often come close to ravishing her mouth. When touch-hunger comes calling, he loses the strength and will to fight his attraction to her. The more time he spends with Bailey, the more he realizes he's made many incorrect assumptions about her. There's much he doesn't know. Much to admire and respect. Much he truly likes. And there seems only one thing for it: He'll have to just keep her.

Contains mature themes.

Yes, worth the credit, love Olympus Pride, book 4 was a NO, but this book is a YES! Just like her original writing style, the previous reviews are correct, the story is much like the previous stories with the storyline, but I loved it. Listening again just because I wanted to hear what I may have missed. Exciting, sexy, funny; will there be a book 6 if so when and with which characters? Love the narrator, she is awesome, I have gotten use to her male voice.

Worth the credit!!!!!

YES, Suzanne is back!!!!

I have been listening to this series on Audible and have loved how Samantha Cook Narrates she brings all these characters to life in so many different ways. I was so excited that this was Bailey and Dekes book that just thinking about it brings a smile to may face. Bailey is a no nonces snake shifter that does everything in her power to annoy people. It brings her pleasure to see them flustered. Deke and she have been butting heads for a while but when his touch hunger gets the best of him, he lets his feelings show. He struggles as he has a made a promise to another women but it's time to set the promise free, He just needs to move on. I love how these two interact the banter and crazy talk was insane but just brings more enjoyment to the book. Bailey is all beast at times, and I love that a female character can be that vicious but come off so innocent at times. Deke has met his match and these two are perfect for each other. Another hit from Suzanne Wright.

Bring on Bailey

I don't know how she does it. Her characters stay true from novel to novel and series to series. Storylines are varied and fascinating. I really had my doubts about this one going in as the main female character is so annoying but I loved this book! Make certain you read the whole group of books. It's worth it!

Suzanne Wright just keeps getting better!
