I was completely impressed with their candid discussion of their relationship and insightful spiritual advice. I’m 71 years old and was married for 20 years and now single for 21 years. Great book for everyone!

Some may think that because the testimony is not a common one (the ones of us that accepted Christ later in life) that this book doesn’t speak to us or have many golden nuggets to offer in our singleness. They would be wrong. Whether widowed, divorced, or dating, this book offers so many truths for us. Tools we can all apply in the different lives we may lead, all with the one central theme: we must be rooted with a foundation in Christ. We are made new and thus must choose His way, die to ourselves and live for Him.

Aimed towards people in their teens and early 20’s

This was a good book with important information. I enjoyed the true life stories and meanings behind them. Although it felt like it was geared towards teens and early 20 year olds. The authors took a stance from an older brother or sister’s perspective, which was difficult for me since I am in my mid 30’s and divorced. Ultimately, looking past that, it was good.

Just what I was looking for!

My wife and I have been happily married for 18 years and have two amazing teenagers. Recently we were made aware of the fact that we needed to do a better job teaching our children why we have certain rules in place regarding dating. I found this book and it has exceeded my expectations! As a father, I now feel much more prepared to help guide my children's heart to a deeper relationship with Christ and am better prepared to lead them regarding dating and courtship.

Necessary for all looking to have a Christ centered purpose to dating

This is a good book for those interested approaching dating from a Biblical perspective. Many of the guidance I’ve heard & known, but was important reminders of how much intention we need to have in this area. I think I’m guilty of taking this lightly when I was younger and didn’t place as much planning to be successful. God wants us to have godly relationships and spouses- all for His glory!

I wish this book was available 20 yrs ago

I wish this book would have been available 20 years ago. If I had this book 20 yes ago, it would of shaped my perception & answered so many questions that seemed taboo to ask as a teenager & young adult. Walking the Christian life as a teenager & young adult holding onto purity can become so impatient. If I had just one thing beyond the restriction & true understanding, I tell you I would not have gotten married at 19 but understood the importance of waiting on God!
