Great/short account of Frida story

Great/short account of Frida story, I enjoyed listening to it. But wayyyy to much repetition of the points. And too much irrelevant information about social media.

Not What I Expected

I thought this would be a new perspective or fresh perspective on life based on Frida's views. However, it was just her life story, almost identical to the Salma Hayek movie. Some of the details were repetitive.

Arianna truly brings Frida to life in her book. She shares such specific details that help you truly understand who Frida was - the woman, the artist, the wife, the activist, and the lover. I really enjoyed reading and listening to this book! Fantastic job, Arianna. I think Frida would be proud.

Very repetitive

Overall enjoyable but the book could easily be half the length. Every chapter is incredibly repetitive with some sentences word for word from previous chapters. Probably about half of each chapter is actually new info. It was enjoyable while I was driving but I rolled my eyes every time it started to repeat itself. It wasn’t completely awful but I wouldn’t read it again. A solid “meh”.

Amazing

I don’t have enough words to explain how I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Arianna summed up an amazing and exceptional woman. This book certainly did the work and art of Frida Justice. I enjoyed every bit of it. 100% Recommend

I learned so much about Frida. It was like living next door to her. Casual except for the last chapters.

Could have been interesting but the repitition of facts and thoughts went on ad nauseen. What a shame!

The author's narration was perfect for Frida's story.'

Narration was outstanding! It kept my attention especially when she talks as either Friday or Diego. Her Spanish accent was kept the story's attention on their Mexican heritage. Very well done!

I enjoyed listening to the words spoken in the original accent they were intended and in many cases the language too. I liked the candor yet awe of balanced reverence given to the subject. I found it a pleasant thing to listen to, and a thought provoking way to look at this iconic figure.
