inspirational story, well narrated

The only thing is that it's so clear that it was written by a man. some of the sexist stereotypes are a bit much.

a fascinating story about an icon

I have to admit this was worth the credit. She's one of the great artists in modern times. The only criticism I have is that I wish the author had dived deeper into her queer relationships. One with a woman is mentioned briefly in passing, and it's kind of messed up. Maybe this information was not available, but I'd be curious. I also would have appreciated brief mentions to were the information was sourced, even at the end.
