Good story
I liked the book but this author has a habit of starting her stories in the middle, which I don't like. The book would have been great if it would have started at the beginning of their love story.

Quick hot and spicy listen with perfect narrators!
Whew!!! I knew this book was going to be a taboo romance that was very spicy and boy, it did not disappoint!! This audio narration is HOT and might melt your headphones but these narrators fit the characters perfectly! This is one taboo/forbidden romance that I highly recommend on audio!!! Now I need to listen to the rest of QB Tyler’s audiobooks too!

This story all begins with a girl who fell in love with her dad’s best friend who is also her godfather. He broke up with her after a whirlwind secret romance but now he’s back in town after finding out she’s engaged. The story just flows so well from there as it provides all of the background and history of the characters but then when that spice hits…it hits hard…and often. But I’m not complaining at all haha!! Also, QB Tyler has written in some spice that was a first for me in a spicy romance book! WOW! I promise you’ll know it, when you read it!! Let’s just say, if you’re looking for a quick super spicy romance that is every bit taboo and forbidden, you have found the right place!
These narrators could not have been more perfectly casted!! JF Harding’s voice was the perfect sultry, sexy yet older tone for JP while Juniper Young was exactly what I imagined for Whitney who is this young innocent college student. Together their voices brought the story to life and made it so easy to listen to!!!

Warning Male anal sex
I liked the book ok. It was forbidden and rode the line but the male anal sex was too far and unnecessary. I love some spice but this was too far. The book kinda read like cheap porn. I expect some sexy scenes for QB Tyler. I enjoy her writing but this was a low brow book. I expected more

Wow! This is a hot one!
JP and Whitney's parents have been best friends since college. Whitney and her brother Mason are JP's godchildren. JP and Whitney got together when she was grown and started a two-year affair where they profess their love for one another. After making the tough decision to not reveal their affair to his best friends, JP breaks up with Whitney, and goes to Mexico for three years on a medical assignment. Leaving Whitney behind to nurse a broken heart, JP tries to unsuccessfully forget about her and move on. When he finds out that Whitney is engaged, JP heads back home to get back the woman he never stopped loving.
Determined to not be swayed by JP, Whitney is doing her best to ignore the chemistry between them. Denying that she still loves him gets harder by the day, until she finally can. That's when all the fireworks really start. The heat between JP and Whitney is even hotter since their breakup, and I loved it all!
The narration by J.F. Harding and Juniper Young was great. J.F. is one of my favorite narrators and his portrayal of JP was awesome. QB Tyler wrote a very thought-provoking and very steamy tale.
