An entrance into the subject of Fearing the Lord, thought provoking and backed by scripture. Well written and I will listen again as well as purchase the more in depth version by the same author. I also will have my teen boys listen and know that this will springboard some great conversations with them.❤
Great points:
-Proverbs says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, not education or mere knowledge
-perfect love and perfect Fear of the Lord coexist
-the Fear of the Lord blesses us, the Lord is our blessed Lord... this means "happy" - when we fear the Lord, we are happy, content, satisfied
-the fear of the Lord is tasting Heaven on earth as all of Heaven trembles in fear before Him ❤❤❤❤Wow!

I genuinely appreciate the fact that this author addressed this topic. Fear of The Lord seems to widely ignored. I am not sure I agree with the author’s analysis/conclusions, but I can still say I am impacted by this work and it will lead to continued mediation. Thanks.

Wow! Causes The Heart to Tremble!

Michael Reeves explains the idea of what is true godly fear. The concept of the fear of God has been greatly misunderstood and distorted. This book, which was so well written and narrated, caused my heart to love and worship my God and Savior anew!

A Topic Not Often Discussed

Excellent book addressing the fear of the Lord. Michael Reeves did a super good job explaining the importance of the fear of the Lord and what it entails and what it does for a believer. This was uplifting and informative. He also is a wonderful narrator. I enjoyed his reading: clear, warm and enthusiastic. I highly recommend this book. It will change you.
