Great introduction to the fear of God

I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
The fear of God is a huge topic, but Jerry does a great job of introducing the topic and covers many aspects concerning it.
Although a relatively short book, it is well worth the read.

Timely.

This is a book all Christians need to read. Get the book. Read it today

Encouraging

The love how Jerry uses lots of scripture to bring our focus on the object of true joy.

The secret. Job 28:28. This book explains this.

Jerry Bridges does a wonderful job explaining what it takes to live for Jesus.
I would highly recommend any beliver to read this book.

This is a classic book that talks about the subject of fearing God is an understandable and practical way.

Fantastic, but abridged, audiobook.

The book is wonderful. I’ve been reading it for a summer study and decided to get the audiobook to read along. That doesn’t work well when the narrator skips two pages here and there, and the chapters don’t align. Still five stars across the board, but I would have loved an unabridged reading.

I love this book.

Audio book does not match kindle book

I like to listen and follow with kindle but this audio version leaves out most of the book therefore it makes following very difficult.

WARNING: This audiobook is abridged.

You should know this is an abridged version of the original. The full version makes much more sense, and is richer and fuller. This abridged version cuts out most of the book, and takes away much from the main points. The section on holiness ended very abruptly, and left out the connection between the Fear of the Lord and holiness! Save your money, and just by the actual book. I’m surprised audible didn’t list this as an abridged version.
