Publisher's Summary

What does God want? Sounds like a simple question, but if you give it a bit of thought, it’s really not. For starters, you have to know who’s asking the question. People will ask it for a lot of different reasons. Best-selling author Dr. Michael S. Heiser shows listeners that the answer is pretty simple. That might surprise you. There’s actually a long, remarkable story behind the answer - one that isn’t well known by most people interested in the question.

Great Book for all

So I think everyone should read this book and it is a foundational book.
This should be a requirement for all Christian’s.

Great book, so-so audible

Fantastic book. A must read for Christians in any stage of their walk.

The audible edition however is very disappointing. Choppy and almost mechanical at times. Not an easy listen. I had to shut it off.

Very straightforward and explanatory

Heiser does a good job summarizing the narrative of the Bible and addressing the question that makes up the title of the book with excellent clarity and sufficient detail.

A great read

Basic but not basic at the same time. I love his Deuteronomy worldview stuff and how he adds it into the whole gospel narrative.

Brilliant!

Easy to understand and kept my interest. Gleaned a good understand of God - and consequently debunked many myths. Not as heavy going as 'the unseen realm', but justs as thorough and informative/life changing in my understanding of all things God related! Looking forward to his other books. Really recommended this author to reveal truth and inspire change for the better!
