Stormy is determined to find answers, but nothing is as it seems. The deeper she digs, the darker the story. It seems Kayley was more than she seemed. Who would want to kill her, though? More importantly, why?
There’s a predator on the loose in Shadow Hills, and Kayley might not be the only victim on the menu. It’s up to Stormy to find answers…if she survives long enough to do it.

What begins as a simple family outing for morel hunting quickly takes a turn when Stormy Morgan and Hunter Ryan, stumble upon a body in the woods. The victim was a former classmate who had spent years isolated due to severe anxiety. Stormy’s determination to find justice for someone so vulnerable drives the plot, leading her into a "darker story" where nothing is as it seems. Despite the dark tones in the book, witty dialogue, snark and sarcasm, provides plenty of humorous moments to balance the tension. As always I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next book.

Really Enjoyed this Installment

This one was eerie, exciting, and so worth the listen. I liked the plot and the amazing cast of characters including the new one.

Fun story

I love this series. fun characters and the snark is awesome. I adore the cross over with the winchesters.
