I loved this series

It was weird not seeing Logan & Tate not married. This was a perfect ending, except for Brenda. I wished that portion would have been taken out of the book or at the very least, putting that her in her place. God I hated her!!! That epilogue brought me to tears!!!

'A' rating...

My Review:
Overall: 4.5
Performance: 4.25
Story: 4.5

The final installment to what has been a great, enjoyable, entertaining series. I've truly loved every book in this series and this final book was just as good as the other two. I'm not going to say too much about the specifics, because you just need to know that you need to read this entire series...and then reading this book will be a given.

I loved everything about the conclusion...the bachelor trip, the planning, the clueless grooms, the final place of where they ended up both personally and professionally. I've fallen in love with these two guys and watching them fall in love with one another brought me so many hours of happy reading. This book had me both laughing and crying.

Simply put...I loved it! And you need to read the whole series if you haven't. It's wonderful!

Happily Ever After

Would you consider the audio edition of Wedlocked to be better than the print version?

The audio edition brings to life the characters appearing on paper. The individual voices of the different characters makes the story seem more real. Although the written word helps with the visualization it just not the same with voices of the characters in the story.

What did you like best about this story?

The story was essentially a reunion of all my favorite characters from the Locke, Temptation and Sunset Cove series. It was fun to catch up where they are now and there were links back to other books, for example the bow tie in Logan's drink mentioned in Ella Frank's book Tate.

Which scene was your favorite?

The best scene was the bachelor weekend in Cabo. It was funny and again showed how the different character's lives interleaved with one another. I really enjoyed Logan and Finley meeting up again.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The epilogue was the best but don't want to give it away since it would be a spoiler.

Any additional comments?

The voice performance was top notch. Charlie David does a great performance and the various voices from earlier series he read came through. Definitely a satisfying conclusion to the PresLocke series.

For Love, Laughter and Happily Ever After!

Would you consider the audio edition of Wedlocked to be better than the print version?

Didn't read the book so I haven't a clue. I can't possibly imagine the written version NOT being good though.

What other book might you compare Wedlocked to and why?

The Sunset Cove series by Ella Frank, for several reasons. First, she can weave an amazing story. Second, the characters she writes are three dimensional and flawed and that makes for a better read, in my opinion. Third, Charlie David narrates both and he has this voice that sort of hypnotizes you and pulls you in.

Which scene was your favorite?

I bet you think I'm going to say the wedding, and while that was breathtaking and I teared up a bit. My personal favorite was the lap dance Dylan gave Ace at their bachelor party weekend scavenger hunt thing.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Their vows. Oh, Le-sigh!

Any additional comments?

I'm a little sad to see this series come to an end. But the journey with Ace and Dylan as they found each other, grew closer and fell in love to their trip down the isle was such a joy to listen to. I think what I enjoyed most was how connected these two were, pretty much from the start. How they worked through issues together, jumped the hurdles holding hands. Minimal angst was definitely a bonus.

Frank took the opportunity to bring the guys from Temptation (Logan and Tate) as well as the guys from Sunset Cove (Finn and Brantley as well as Posh and Derek) and let me just say, the bachelor party weekend was quite possibly the best thing I've ever listened to in my life. Hysterical, insane and very heart felt.

Narration was amazing as usual. David has already previously voiced all the characters in the various series and there are many, but you never have to guess who's talking cause everyone has their own voice.

Loved it, sad it's over but what an amazing ride it was!

Disappointing after book one and two

I know, I am in the minority, but this book was anti-climactic. It was cute, and who does not like a happily ever after, but I kept waiting for something exciting to happen and then the book was over. I love the first two books, and at least there is closure, but I did not love it. The narrator, however, was great, as always.
