I only made it to chapter 9

I made it to chapter 9 with lots of effort. I cannot bear to listen to a weak willed person. Most often in these Regency Novels you find a character who doesn't know there own mind and has a weak will. I cannot bear to listen to a story about such a person...I like strong characters who can stand up for themselves so I could not continue past chapter 9 as that's all I saw up to that point a weak willed person.
