Hope is love.

Charles Martin never disappoints!! This may be his best novel ever. There is always something unforgettable in his novels. And I LOVED this book!!

Don’t miss the epilogue “Digging a well” at the end.

Narration was very good. Always helps a great listen.

This was an nice story

Second book of CM. So far I like his stories, The book was sweet. The only part that bothered me was the authors note at the end of the book. I won’t elaborate more than it was pushing Christian religion.

Surprisingly good

I would have never expected to care about a trouble-spreading drug dealer the way I did with this book. Charles Martin is a masterful story spinner and travel writer. Every book I have read is a treasure and inspiration. I feel like a better person just for reading this writer's work.

Whooping Wow!

This is one well written book! The story totally jerks you off the beaten path. Should be required reading to young and old alike! The performance was superb also.

Beautiful story of Redemption

This book was a wonderful story of a life redeemed. Characters were well developed and you felt like you knew them well.

One of my favorites!

I've listened to or read several of Charles Martin's books and have to say this is one of my favorites! I understand it is one of his earlier stories, written in a narrative style. I think it would make a fantastic movie!

This is a story of love, redemption,sacrifice and the true meaning of life. It deals with many bad things in life, but ends with lessons from the bible.Loved the narration.

Amazing!!

I read all the rave reviews and got the book. At first I didn't understand all the wonderful reviews because the beginning, I thought was slow. However, as you progress, the story is emotional and heartfelt. God truely had a plan for Charlie. I am still thinking about this book days after I have finished it.

Kevin Stillwell was easy to listen to and would love to listen to another book narrated by him.
