Vivian Barrera, a professional woman focused on her company's success, doesn't know what to think when her sometimes-lover and long-time business partner Jack hires someone without her permission. The only thing she does know is that she doesn't like the newcomer.

April Hawkins is determined to make her new job work. Left as the sole provider for her niece, she just wants to keep her head down and collect her paycheck. Sexy times abound

Lots of steamy scenes lathered onto a thin plot. Cannot listen to this in the car as the MCs have an insatiable appetite for one another, definitely a headphones only book! This was an easygoing book. The drama was minute even though each dilemma was quite serious. Seemed to pale in comparison to the dialogue between the MCs. Fun, easy read. Narrator didn't change her voice much between characters so you do get a wee confused at times trying to decipher who's speaking.

Findings to a moment

In a story read from C. Vine is sultry and delightfully beautiful. The story is a good listen when you just want to step away from reality. It is a good day to get into the world of looking at what you need, not who can want.

Face paced love!!!

Fantastic read, fast paced, both characters knew they liked each other, knew they wanted each other, and figured out how to make the relationship work!!!

Slow burn

Enjoyed the complicated development that became a love story. Past issues brought to light. Great ending

Some intriguing surprises in this romance/mystery

NO spoilers here! You’ll just have to take my word for it! The narration was excellent, though a little slow for me, so I adjusted it to 1.1 and it was perfect! An easy listen with evolving characters that have lots of chemistry and seem to discover themselves as they discover each other.
